Developed and published by PlaySide Studios, War for Westeros was introduced with a chilling cinematic trailer that instantly set the tone. Fans were treated to a dramatic showdown between Jon Snow and the Night King, culminating in the undead commander not only defeating Jon, but resurrecting him as a wight. It's a grim twist that echoes the show's most memorable betrayals—and one that promises moral ambiguity and high stakes throughout the game. But there's a catch—or two. War for Westeros is not the open-world action-RPG many fans had long hoped for.
