Summary Following the reveal of thenext batch of Nike x LEGO sets, the collaboration is gearing up for a later launch to include apparel, sneakers and other toy accessories. TheNikeandLEGOpartnership recently saw the 'Nike Dunk Trickshot' and 'Slam Dunk' sets surface as the 454-piece and 809-piece creation, respectively. With the sneaker aficionado and hope in mind, upcoming expansion goes beyond the toy build to include co-branded ready-to-wear pieces like a jacket, shirt and socks. The jacket, which has surfaced online, appears to take on a red, nylon make featuring the phrases, 'MASTER BUILDERS' and 'CHAMPIONSHIP ATHLETES' on the back, along with the combined LEGO brick symbol and Nike Swoosh logo. Beyond the apparel, the collection is also said to feature a backpack and a set ofNike Dunk Lowsneakers in all-white smooth leather, featuring prominent, black contrasting outlines to give it a pop-art look. Perhaps one of the more unique accessories include a plastic basketball that features the same LEGO brick and Swoosh co-branding. The textured grip takes the aesthetic of LEGO bricks to give it an added uniqueness. Nike and LEGO first announced its multi-year partnership back in August last year. More Nike X LEGO Sets Have Surfaced
Summary More sets of theNikeandLEGOcollaborative project have surfaced, building upon its successful partnership with two new, dynamic sets to fans. These creative kits go beyond simple display models, reimagining sneaker and basketball culture in brick form with a focus on interactive play. The first set, titled the 'Nike Dunk Trickshot,' is an ingenious 454-piece creation. At its heart is a red and white low-top sneaker, likely inspired by the classic 'St. John's' Dunk, which serves as a moving platform. A small LEGO figure stands atop the shoe, which is attached to a movable board. This allows builders to manipulate the shoe's movement, guiding the figure to perform a dunk into a miniature hoop at the front of the build. It's a playful and interactive homage to the art of the trick shot. The second set, 'Slam Dunk,' offers a more expansive and detailed scene. This 809-piece set features a hooper in mid-air, powerfully driving toward a hoop. The build includes a meticulously detailed front court, a functional scoreboard, and even miniature fans in the stands, capturing the energy and spectacle of a climactic basketball moment. This larger set allows for a more immersive storytelling experience, transforming static bricks into a scene of dynamic sports action. These new LEGO Nike sets are a testament to the brands' shared commitment to creative expression and cultural resonance. They appeal to a wide audience, from sneaker enthusiasts and basketball fans to LEGO collectors, offering a fun and engaging way to build, play, and display iconic sneaker and sports culture. So far, no release date has been revealed for the new LEGO sets. The duo's first release was priced at $100 USD and it is uncertain if it the new sets will be priced similarly.
