UNC basketball offers 2026 small forward
The Tar Heels have put out another offer in the 2026 class
The North Carolina Tar Heels continue to add to their 2026 recruiting board as they seek their first commitment for the class. There's a long ways to go in the class so there shouldn't be any panic and on Tuesday, they added another name.
The Tar Heels offered four-star small forward Maximo Adams after his impressive performance at the Nike EYBL Peach Jam last week. Adams was a standout at the event as the Tar Heels were in attendance, and with Hubert Davis and the staff liking what they saw, an offer was the next step.
Adams is a Sierra Canyon product out in California and is quickly improving his draft stock. He's up to over 30 offers now in his recruitment with UNC, Maryland, Kentucky, Purdue and Michigan State all offering this week.
The 6-foot-6, 210-pound small forward is ranked No. 40 nationally, the no. 17 small forward and the No. 6 player in the state of California per the 247Sports recruiting rankings. With a recent jump in production this Summer, the attention is now there for Adams as evidenced by these offers.
For North Carolina, he's now a new name to keep an eye on and he's the 14th player to earn an offer from UNC. He's also the seventh small forward to earn a UNC offer as the Tar Heels are hoping to address that position.
