The post Giannis Antetokounmpo's upcoming Nike Giannis Freak 7 release appeared first on ClutchPoints. With NBA superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo staying put in Milwaukee with the Bucks, the window is set for the Greek Freak to bring his adopted city yet another championship ring. Antetokounmpo is also starting a new chapter with Nike after rumors back in March about a new addition to his signature sneaker line. Just a few months later, Nike is set for the official release of the Nike Giannis Freak 7. Advertisement Check our Sneakers news for more upcoming releases and breaking content! Giannis Antetokounmpo debuted his latest Nike Giannis Freak 7 during a recent Nike-sponsored gym session in a recent social media post. Antetokounmpo is seen during a highlight reel making cuts and working on his jumper. Clean shots of the shoe introduce the newest sneaker in his current catalogue, remaining on-theme with previous releases in terms of the silhouette and direction of design. Nike Giannis Freak 7 The Nike Giannis Freak 7 is introduced with a revamped upper construction opting for a wave design and patented backwards Nike Swoosh. The upper is made from special padding from the top of the midsole up through the ankle. This feeds into the full-length Cushlon 3.0 midsole, a first for the Nike Giannis line. The design creates a split duality within the shoe as the other half features a textile design, a running theme for Giannis and his sneakers. Advertisement Finer details will include a lockdown heel inspired by Greek sandals along with Antetokounmpo's logo on the tongue. The most unique feature is easily the traction pattern on the outsole, outlining a cityscape with 'ANTETOKOUNMPO' spelled out along the top. No other signature sneaker is doing something similar at the moment and it's a nice touch as the Nike Giannis line continues to evolve. The Freak 7 will debut July 29, 2025 in the 'Ignition' colorway on Nike SNKRS app and select Nike retailers. The shoes will come in a full size run and will be set at a retail price of $110, making these yet another affordable iteration in an already solid release catalogue. Bucks add flexibility with contract ‘exchange'
The post Bucks add flexibility with contract 'exchange' appeared first on ClutchPoints. The Milwaukee Bucks continue to retool this NBA Free Agency, reshaping their roster around Giannis Antetokounmpo. In another calculated move, the Bucks and guard Andre Jackson Jr. have agreed to amend the terms of his 2025-26 contract. The adjustment adds both financial flexibility and roster optionality. Advertisement The Bucks and Andre Jackson Jr. agreed to move the guarantee date on his $2.2 million deal, originally scheduled for today, per a league source. In return, the Bucks guarantee part of his salary. The change gives Milwaukee more time to make a roster decision while giving Jackson some financial security. This move is part of a series of strategic decisions as the Bucks continue to retool around Giannis Antetokounmpo. Most notably, the Bucks let go of Damian Lillard to create room for Myles Turner. Turner adds shot-blocking, floor-spacing, and playoff experience. He's expected to complement Giannis in the frontcourt on both ends of the floor. To clear more space for the Turner deal, the Bucks reached a $6.1 million buyout with Vasilije Micic. As a result, the move dropped their cap hit from $8.1 million to $2 million. Additionally, by using the NBA's stretch provision, they will spread the remaining salary over three years. In turn, this helped Milwaukee stay under the league's 15 percent 'stretched money' cap limit, an increasingly important threshold in today's salary structure. Advertisement In this context, the Jackson move may seem minor. But it fits a larger pattern, Milwaukee is preserving flexibility while reshaping its supporting cast. Jackson, a 2023 second-round pick, showed promise as a high-energy defender and transition threat. With rotation spots still open and more signings likely, delaying his guarantee date gives the Bucks added control over final roster decisions. As NBA free agency continues, the Bucks' front office has shown a willingness to balance financial constraints with strategic additions. Turner's arrival grabs headlines, but small moves like Jackson's restructured contract could prove just as valuable by keeping the Bucks agile in a high-stakes summer.
