'Extremely comfortable' Skechers with 20k reviews and worn for 9+ hours now 48% off
When shopping for new trainers, there are certain features that are pretty vital to look out for: comfort, durability and price (with aesthetics being a happy addition). With Amazon's Prime Day sales almost upon us as the event begins on July 8 and ends on July 11, the shopping giant has dropped the price of some of its products early such as a pair of Skecher's trainers that its wearers are calling 'incredibly comfortable'.
With 48% off in some of the sizes, the Skechers Women's D'Lites-Biggest Fan Trainers have been reduced from £69 to £36.15 when buying the Black Trubuck White Mesh Silver Trim design. A timeless style, the shoes are available in sizes two to nine although for each size a different sale price is assigned.
While size two is £36.15, size six is £40.32 and nine is £47.99 - matching Sport's Direct's price of £47 and beating Skechers' own £70. Made from durable Trubuck leather, the shoes are described as being 'lightweight' with mesh and synthetic upper material to make them breathable.
With a tongue loop for ease of getting on and off, the Skechers shoes are made with laces for easy wear and have a cushioned 'Air-Cooled Memory Foam' insole. This detail can help - as shared on the Skechers' website - "provide pressure relief, instant comfort, and breathability".
The shoes' 1 1/4-inch heel height offers stability and support with a sole that 'moulds' to the feet. This detail is often found in shoes of a similar style, such as the Nike Initiator, which is currently on sale at Schuh for £39.99, down from £75. With a 'retro' design, the shoes at this price are in a bold silver hue and have visible Air-Sole cushioning for the 'perfect mix of fashion and performance'.
Many people have shared how the Skechers shoes are ideal for working on your feet thanks to their cushioned sole - something that is often complimented in New Balance trainers such as the 327 Shoes which are currently on sale for £60 from £100 on the brand's website. With one person stating they're the 'Perfect everyday walking shoes', they're a good alternative for those looking to spend a little extra.
With an impressive 4.6 star rating on Amazon alone from over 20,000 reviews, however, the Skechers shoes have gained some high praise with many people complimenting their style and 'fabulous' look too.
One person who left a five-star review raved: "I love Skechers and have bought several pairs in different designs, and these do not disappoint. I am on my feet for nine hours a day, and these are so comfortable and lightweight. The memory foam moulds to your feet, and they are incredibly comfortable."

While a lot of people loved that the shoes provide some serious support and comfort, others haven't enjoyed quite how 'heavy' the Skechers can be.
One person said: " These Skechers are nice to look at but heavy in design. I feel they are to heavy and weigh down my feet. I brought them for work on the ward but after my shift, at home, my feet were aching and worn out. I tried again but i had to go back to the footwear i had previously to wear to work. Not really for me, as the wearing of them is not to my liking, and as of now, they are in the box they came in and have not been used since my second attempt."
