The boot's design features what Nike terms the Color of Speed, a metallic-effect shade intended to represent the athlete's velocity and its role in his path to international recognition. The model incorporates expected performance attributes of the Mercurial line, including a three-quarter-length Air Zoom unit for responsive acceleration and Nike Gripknit technology on the toe for ball control.
