Nikki Garcia Ordered To Pay Artem Chigvintsev This Staggering Amount in Their Divorce Settlement

The details of Nikki Garcia and Artem Chigvintsev's divorce settlement have been publicized, revealing the massive sum the WWE star was ordered to pay her ex-husband. TMZ reported on May 15 that a judge officially signed off on the former couple's November 2024 divorce settlement. 41-year-old Garcia agreed to pay Chigvintsev $3,500 a month in child support for their 4-year-old son, Matteo. Garcia was also ordered to pay the Dancing With the Stars pro, 42, two $100,000 lump sums. The first will be paid now, and the second at the end of the year. Garcia and Chigvintsev were granted joint custody of the son in October 2024 with a judge rejecting Garcia's request that Chigvintsev be ordered to take anger management classes and only get supervised visitation. Garcia and Chigvintsev were ordered to attend individual therapy and parenting classes. The exes, who married in 2022, two years after welcoming their son, split up in August 2024. Their separation came after Chigvintsev was arrested on felony domestic violence charges after an incident at the couple's home. Chigvintsev denied any wrongdoing and claimed his ex-wife was the aggressor. The charges were dropped in September. 'I am incredibly relieved and grateful that the domestic violence charges against me have been dropped,' Chigvintsev said in a statement at the time. 'This has been an extremely difficult time for me. I am thankful that the truth has prevailed.' In a December episode of her podcast, Garcia admitted that hasn't had 'a day without tears' since her split from Chigvintsev. 'I just know that situations like this, divorce, whatever it may be, it takes a piece of you. It takes a piece of your heart that will never grow back or never be replaced, but it's, 'How do we make that piece of you that's gone strong?'' she of SheKnows Kristen Stewart, Keke Palmer, & More Stars Who Had Dramatic Hair Changes Every Celebrity Who Put Their Own Spin on the Little Black Dress Trend 16 Movies & TV Shows That Are Excessively Violent Toward Women

Nikki Garcia Gives a Surprising Update on Her Relationship with Ex-Husband Artem Chigvintsev Post-Divorce

After a high-profile and messy divorce battle, Nikki Garcia shared a surprising update on where she stands with ex-husband Artem Chigvintsev. 'Artem and I, right now, are in a great place,' Garcia said during a May 22 episode of SiriusXM's The Nikki & Brie Show podcast in which she broke her silence on the newly-released information about her divorce settlement, including the bombshell sum she paid Chigvintsev. 'We are co-parenting so amazing, and it makes Matteo's life so amazing and I don't want it any other way.' More from SheKnows Mormon Wives Star Says Jessi Ngatikaura Admitted Something That 'Shocked' Her Amid Affair Rumors 'That's why when all of this came up, it sucks because things in Matteo's world right now is so great because Artem and I are so on the same page, and I want that,' she said. Garcia confirmed that she was ordered to pay Chigvintsev $200,000 in addition to $3,500 a month in child support for their 4-year-old son, Matteo, but insisted that she wouldn't have it any other way. 'I want Matteo to make sure his life in the other house is equal,' she said. 'Child support is so [that] the child could have an equal life in both homes. That's where it comes from, and so it is hard and you're like, 'Oh, it hurts,' but it's so maybe that other parent can get a better place for rent, so then your child support goes to that, right? Or they can eat the same organic food… I don't even think twice about it because I'm like, that is making sure Matteo is also 50/50. His other time is a good life.' Garcia and Chigvintsev finalized their divorce in November 2024 after filing in August 2024 following the Dancing with the Stars pro's arrest on felony domestic violence charges. Chigvintsev denied wrongdoing and accused Garcia of being the aggressor in the incident. The charges were dropped in September, but Garcia insists that their divorce settlement is not a sign that she was 'guilty.' She alluded to the assault allegation on her podcast, saying, 'Everyone's making it like I'm guilty. I lost. I was a liar. I haven't lied about one thing, and I'm going to just make that clear.' 'You guys, I know how to take accountability,' she added. 'If it [were] opposite, I would have taken accountability. I would've said, 'I f-cked up. I need help,' but that was not me that day.' Garcia and Chigvintsev, who started dating in 2019 after meeting on Dancing with the Stars, married in 2022 after welcoming their son in 2020. Nikki Garcia breaks silence on brutal divorce payout to Artem Chigvintsev... and where they really stand now

Nikki Garcia isn't holding back when it comes to her costly divorce from Artem Chigvintsev. The former WWE star, 41, opened up about her recent court-ordered settlement on Thursday, revealing she was forced to shell out $200,000 of her 'hard-earned money' in spousal support to her ex, Dancing with the Stars pro Chigvintsev, 42. The judge also ordered Garcia—formerly known as Nikki Bella—to pay $3,500 a month in child support for their 4-year-old son, Matteo. The pair will split the cost of his extracurriculars moving forward, and custody will be shared, according to court documents. Speaking candidly on the latest episode of The Nikki & Brie Show podcast, the reality star confirmed the terms of her split from Artem — and gave fans an honest update on where things stand between them now. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. 'Our settlement is what everyone saw. Yes, I had to give him $200,000. Spousal support, alimony,' she said, as twin sister Brie chimed in, 'That's what happens when you're the breadwinner.' But according to Nikki, the $200K payout didn't leave her bitter — in fact, she shocked listeners by admitting she 'got a steal' in the deal. 'Which is crazy to say,' she added. The Total Bellas star also revealed a jaw-dropping comment from the judge who oversaw their private mediation. 'Our judge said at the end of it, "This is the first time in all the years I've done this where a woman had to pay a man,"' Nikki recalled. '"You should be so damn proud that you built such an empire that someone wants a piece of it."' The comment hit hard — but also struck a nerve of pride. 'It was nice to hear that… even though it hurts because I broke my neck for that money,' she said. 'That money, all that is my hard-earned money.'' Nikki added she promised the judge that any future husband will be signing a prenup. As for the $3,500 a month in child support, Nikki said she's fine with it — because it's all about Matteo. 'Child support is so the child could have an equal life in both homes,' she explained. 'I don't even think twice about it… that is making sure Matteo is also 50/50, half of his other time is a good life.' Despite the split and drama, Nikki said she and Artem are finally in a solid place. 'We are co-parenting so amazing, and it makes Matteo's life so amazing, and I don't want it any other way.' She also made it clear that their divorce had 'nothing to do' with the highly publicized incident in August 2024, when Artem was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence in Napa County. No charges were filed. Artem later told People he was 'incredibly relieved and grateful' that the case was dropped. 'This has been an extremely difficult time for me. I am thankful that the truth has prevailed.' The DWTS pro emphasized his focus remains on fatherhood, calling Matteo 'the greatest blessing' and pledging to continue providing 'the love, support, and care he needs' as they move forward.
