Man shot at in Khagaria

Khagaria: A 25-year-old man was allegedly shot at by three motorcycle-borne miscreants while he was on his morning walk on the rail over bridge(ROB) under Chitragupta Nagar police station area of Khagaria town on Wednesday morning. The victim, identified as Niraj Kumar, alias Bulbul Chowdhary of Sanhauli village adjacent to Khagaria town, sustained bullet injury. He is undergoing treatment at Begusarai-based private clinic. SHO Amit Kumar Kant said prima facie it appears the cause of the incident was land dispute. The matter was under investigation, police said.
