Apple is making its presence known in Detroit with the recent announcement of an Apple Manufacturing Academy coming to the city later this year.
While an exact location has not been confirmed, the academy is expected to offer free in-person and online courses, with a skills development curriculum in areas such as manufacturing process optimization and project management, writes JC Reindl. Companies will also be helped to transition to advanced manufacturing, the announcement said.
