Lotus Herbals launches new brand Lotus Derma Botanics
Natural beauty care company Lotus Herbals has introduced Lotus Derma Botanics, a new dermaceutical skincare brand combining clinical ingredients with botanical extracts. According to the company, it is the first Indian brand to adopt this approach, with formulations co-created and approved by dermatologists to ensure efficacy and safety.
'We are delighted to launch Lotus Derma Botanics, a dermaceutical skin care brand committed to transforming the way people think about skin health,' said Nitin Passi, Lotus' chairman and managing director, in a press release. "These products are formulated with a unique combination of potent actives and avant-garde natural extracts. With a focus on education, innovation, and customer well-being, Lotus Derma Botanics aims to become a trusted partner for individuals seeking effective, dermatologist-inspired skin care solutions."
The brand's initial launch includes two skincare ranges targeting different age groups and concerns. The Kojic Acid + Multi Berries range is aimed at consumers aged 18 to 35 and addresses issues such as melasma, pigmentation, and dark spots. It includes a blemish-free face wash, a high-dose serum, and an ampoule crème. The Peptide + Papaya range caters to those aged 26 to 45 and focuses on deep hydration, skin brightening, and anti-ageing, with products including a deep hydra serum and crème.
The brand follows an omni-channel retail strategy and is currently available in modern retail outlets, beauty and department stores, as well as on leading e-commerce platforms and the Lotus website. To build visibility, Lotus Derma Botanics has partnered with dermatologists and influencers, and will run targeted campaigns across social media and digital platforms.
