Public transport operators on Sunday said they will suspend their services, or run them on a limited basis, due to Typhoon Wipha.
The MTR said it would offer limited railway services and that services on open sections of the railway and light rail would be suspended when the No. 9 Signal is in force. The Observatory has said the No. 9 Signal will be issued at 7:20 am.
The Tsuen Wan Line, Kwun Tong Line, Island Line, South Island Line, Tung Chung Line, Airport Express, and Tuen Ma Line are running at 10-minute intervals.
The Tsung Kwan O Line is operating every 10 to 15 minutes, and the East Rail Line every 10 to 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, KMB, Citybus and Long Win Bus have announced the suspension of all daytime routes until further notice.
Ferry services, including the Star Ferry and outlying islands ferries, are suspended.
For cross-boundary travel, the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge has been closed since 3:30 am, while the shuttle service between Lok Ma Chau and Huanggang ports continues to operate but with limited services.
All morning, and some of the afternoon, high-speed rail services between Hong Kong and the mainland have been cancelled.
