Appearing unexpectedly during the high‑stakes main event of Money in the Bank, the 53‑year‑old performer sent shockwaves in the stadium by ambushing John Cena, swinging the momentum decisively toward Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso. The WWE star has again sparked speculation that he has a longstanding fixture with the company. He has also hinted that his storyline with John Cena is far from over. In the report, it has been stated that Truth himself requested the name change to "One Final True Run" as a final farewell to his WWE veteran status. Moreover, it also stated that he would have used his real name as part of the television programming in WWE, which would allow him to pursue indie bookings once his new deal ended.
