The Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section Central Team set up surveillance on North Main Street in Webster and followed the suspect as he returned from a convenience store. Once the suspect was at his residence, the troopers surrounded the area and executed a warrant. Lambert attempted to run away but was quickly captured. He is being held at the Worcester County House of Corrections pending extradition back to North Carolina.
