Investigation after man dies following lorry fire in Hucknall
An investigation is under way after a 54-year-old man died following a lorry fire in Fire and Rescue Service said it was called to the scene in Watnall Road just after 23:00 BST on from Arnold, Eastwood, Hucknall and Stockhill were sent to deal with the Palmer, group manager for the fire service, said: "I would like to send my sincere condolences to the gentleman's family and friends."

Woman dies three days after flat fire in Beeston
A woman has died following a fire at a flat in a town centre in services were called to Union Street in Beeston at about 15:15 BST on Saturday after a passer-by spotted a fire had broken out in a 88-year-old woman who had been taken from her flat to Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham died on Tuesday, said Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue investigation by the brigade and Nottinghamshire Police has ruled the fire was accidental. We'd like to encourage everyone to ensure they are looking out for their elderly or vulnerable neighbours and relatives."She said free online home safety checks were available for residents, which could prompt an in-person visit, while professionals who work with vulnerable people can book on to free training.
