Stormzy ready to start a family and 'met his wife' after Maya Jama split

Grime star Stormzy has teased he has met his future wife and is ready to start a family in his surprise new song, while admitting the mystery woman looks like ex Maya Jama Stormzy has surprisingly said he has met his wife and is ready to start a family in a new song. The grime star, 31, dropped his brand new track Sorry Rach! this week, which came with some candid admissions. He declared he is ready to take the next steps in his life in the song, before noting his new woman is similar to exes Maya Jama and Victoria Monet. Stormzy and Love Island host Maya shocked fans when they split last summer after rekindling their romance a year before. ‌ The pair delighted fans with their reunion, having dated for five years before their split in 2019. Maya has since moved on with her secret romance with Portuguese footballer Ruben Dias. ‌ Stormzy also moved on with US artist Victoria Monet, but they are said to have ended things. In his new song, Stormzy appeared to reference a new woman as he rrapped: "I told the boys I think I met my wife. Baby if you have my baby then you're set for life.' He went added: "I think I've got a type, she's like the two before." Earlier this year, Maya appeared to take a brutal swipe at her own exes as she shared tips to the secret of a successful relationship. She had also enjoyed a high-profile romance with Australian basketball player Ben Simmons from 2021 until 2022. Her back-handed insult to Stormzy and Ben comes as her romance with Ruben is said to be taking off. Explaining that she has a lot of love to give to the right person, Maya said she is only too happy to walk away if she is not getting what she needs. Opening up to Julie Adenuga on Now You Know, the Love Island host discussed what she looks for in a partner. She revealed: "I'm such a lover but I am a big leaver as well. ‌ "I know what makes me happy and I know what I like — and this is no disrespect to anyone I've been in a relationship with, but if it's not that then I will leave it. "My point I always try to make is that I am really, really happy and I have curated this lovely little life for myself and my friends. I only want you if you are going to add to that or make it better, otherwise I am not really on it." Maya went on to compare herself to a secret agent as she tries to form relationships while being in the public eye. She said: "Dating is a bit of a ball-ache if I am honest because I am like, 'I can't go anywhere with you because even if I step out with my friend they are going to say I am dating him.' That's a bit annoying, having to be a secret agent to date."

Caitlin Clark's New Teammate Reveals What Everyone Thinks About Indiana Fever

Caitlin Clark's new teammate Sophie Cunningham got a new version of the Indiana Fever experience in her first preseason game, and it left a strong impression. In the second quarter of Indiana's preseason game against the Washington Mystics, Cunningham had a heated exchange with Mystics rookie Kiki Iriafen that left them both on the hardwood. The chaos continued later in the quarter, when Washington guard Brittney Sykes gave her a shove in the back. Advertisement The Fever acquired Cunningham, a career 7.7 point-per-game scorer, from the Phoenix Mercury in a three-team trade during the offseason. When she arrived in Indiana, Cunningham recalled her experience in Phoenix last season, watching from afar and seeing the amount of pressure on Clark and the Fever. "[Fever forward DeWanna Bonner] had my back and that's what it's all about," Cunningham said of the incident involving Sykes against the Mystics. "We have a huge target on our backs," she stated. "I don't think that's a secret.' As an organization, the Fever have embraced being the center of attention heading into the 2025 WNBA season. They rolled out an ad campaign for Clark's sophomore season titled "Now You Know," that is plastered on billboards around Indianapolis. Advertisement "Our road games sound like home games and out fan base doesn't ask for permission to show up and dominate," the team said, acknowledging its role as the main attraction in any arena — including Sunday's sold-out preseason game at Iowa's Carver-Hawkeye Arena, where Clark played in college. As one of seven experienced WNBA players to join the Fever in the offseason, Cunningham represents the movement to build a fearsome team around Clark that has high expectations to compete for a championship in 2025. "I think that our team right now is turning heads," she told the Indy Star. "DeWanna Bonner, getting her was huge. She was one of my vets when I was a rookie coming in. And she's no one to mess with. You have Natasha Howard, you have Aliyah Boston, you have Kelsey Mitchell. We just have a squad, and our depth is amazing. I'm just excited." Advertisement "To be honest, when you have a group that can let go of the egos and come here to win and work hard, I think that's the best type of group," she added. "When you're all willing to do the dirty work, that's what I'm most excited about. That's my bread and butter right there, to outwork your opponents, and have fun doing it."
