Jesse Eisenberg details the ‘miracle' of Now You See Me: Now You Don't
Jesse Eisenberg thinks it's a 'miracle' Now You See Me: Now You Don't is going ahead. The 41-year-old actor is due to return as street illusionist J. Daniel Atlas in the upcoming magical action movie, and while Eisenberg has insisted a third Now You See Me film was always on the cards, he is overjoyed Now You See Me: Now You Don't has finally come to fruition. Speaking with Collider, Eisenberg said: 'There was always talk of a third one, but we didn't know where it would take place or what it would be.' The Social Network star added the wheels on Now You See Me: Now You Don't really began to turn when the next generation of magicians - as played by Ariana Greenblatt, Justice Smith, and Dominic Sessa - were introduced into the story. He explained: 'When we realized we could make the movie, and the storyline would include these younger magicians, it all seemed like the perfect way into another film for the franchise.' As well as Eisenberg's Atlas, Now You See Me: Now You Don't will see the return of the other members of the Four Horsemen: Jack Wilder (Dave Franco), Merritt McKinney (Woody Harrelson) and Henley Reeves (Isla Fisher). The A Real Pain actor said bringing back the original cast while also introducing the new magicians gave Now You See Me: Now You Don't its unique tone. He teased: 'It kind of shows where we are in life since the last film. 'On a personal level, it feels like a treat to be able to come back with these people I love so much and get to hang out with them in the weirdest of circumstances. 'Every seven years, we are in a room that turns over and over and, in Abu Dhabi or Macau, or off the coast of Hong Kong, or New Orleans or Paris, whatever, you know, from all these movies.' Now You See Me: Now You Don't - which will also see the return of Morgan Freeman's Thaddeus Bradley and introduce Rosamund Pike as antagonist Veronika Vanderberg - follows Atlas (Eisenberg) as he unites with a new generation of magicians to pull off a high-stakes diamond heist. As old secrets resurface and loyalties shift, the line between trickery and truth begins to blur. Reflecting on the young magicians in Now You See Me: Now You Don't, Eisenberg said it was these new characters that drive the movie. He explained: 'My character is lured out of retirement by these three younger magicians and is better for it. 'There's a kind of funny iteration of my character, Atlas, because in this movie I'm not only the same arrogant character, but I'm also leading these three young magicians, and I feel kind of condescending towards them. 'I'm both trying to teach them and shepherd them, but I'm also irritated that they sometimes don't listen to me. 'And so, there's a kind of interesting shade in this movie to my character, which is one of feeling both competitive with these young people, who I think don't know anything, and then ultimately impressed by what they're able to pull off.'

Is a Luigi Mangione biopic in the works? Dave Franco says he's open to play role
Dave Franco has responded to speculation about potentially portraying Luigi Mangione in a biopic, saying he's open to the idea but has yet to be contacted about the role. Appearing on Watch What Happens Live with his wife, Alison Brie, Franco addressed the growing fan buzz around him possibly playing Mangione, who is currently facing multiple state and federal charges including murder, forgery, and identity falsification. Franco said, when asked whether he would take the role, 'No one has approached me about it yet, I'll say that. This is something that more people in my life reached out about this exact thing than anything else that has ever happened.' Mangione made headlines after being accused of killing Brian Thompson, the CEO of UnitedHealthcare. He pleaded not guilty in December 2024, and his next court appearance for the New York state case is scheduled for September 16, 2025. Franco, known for his recent Emmy-nominated guest role in The Studio on Apple TV+, concluded his comments on the potential casting by saying, 'Let's just say I'm open if the right people… and let's just leave it at that.' Franco's filmography continues to expand, with his next project, Now You See Me: Now You Don't, set to hit theatres on November 14.

Last Updated: Previously, Franco teased Now You See Me: Now You Don't would be 'everything you want', and said Rosamund Pike's villain was a particular standout. Dave Franco hopes to 'make many more" Now You See Me movies. The 40-year-old actor is set to reprise his role as street magician Jack Wilder in the upcoming threequel Now You See Me: Now You Don't, and with a fourth film also on the way, Franco has shared he hopes the series will continue after the next flick. Speaking with Screen Rant, he said: 'Now You See Me 3, coming out in November — the gang is back, definitely more magic. I'm learning new ways to throw cards. I have the greatest time with that cast. I think our natural love for each other bleeds onto the screen, and I hope to make many more with them." As well as Franco, Now You See Me: Now You Don't – which hits screens on November 14, 2025 – will see the return of his other Four Horsemen co-stars: J. Daniel Atlas (Jesse Eisenberg), Merritt McKinney (Woody Harrelson) and Henley Reeves (Isla Fisher). Now You See Me: Now You Don't will also see Mark Ruffalo and Morgan Freeman reprise their roles as Dylan Rhodes and Thaddeus Bradley, respectively, while newcomers Ariana Greenblatt, Justice Smith, and Dominic Sessa join the cast as the next generation of magicians. Previously, Franco teased Now You See Me: Now You Don't would be 'everything you want", and said Rosamund Pike's villain was a particular standout. He told Collider: 'We got some new fun characters – we got an incredible villain with Rosamund Pike, who's just an absolute pro. It's everything you want." Reflecting on his Four Horsemen co-stars – who he has appeared alongside since the first Now You See Me in 2013 – Franco said the 'natural camaraderie" they share 'bleeds through onto the screen". The Together actor said: 'I've known this cast for nearly 15 years now, and we all genuinely love each other. There's no set that I laugh on more. I just adore these people, and I think the natural camaraderie that we have kind of bleeds through onto the screen, and people can feel how much fun we're having." In Now You See Me: Now You Don't – directed by Ruben Fleischer – The Four Horsemen appear to have gone their separate ways at the start of the film. In the first trailer, Eisenberg's J. Daniel Atlas tells a new generation of illusionists that his former team is 'dead." He then clarifies: 'To me. Things got too real for them. They gave up stuff." The plot centres on a daring diamond heist that unites both the original Horsemen and new characters, played by Greenblatt, Smith, and Sessa, as they face off against a powerful criminal organisation. The movie's title, Now You See Me: Now You Don't, was revealed during CinemaCon in April, where Lionsgate Motion Picture Group chair Adam Fogelson also announced that Fleischer is set to return for a fourth instalment in the franchise. Fogelson said: 'We were so happy with the director's cut, we're already developing the next chapter. We can't wait for audiences to discover what he's done with the third film and thrilled he'll be making even more magic with us." Isla Fisher's Post-Divorce Dig At Sacha Cohen
After finalizing her divorce from Sacha Baron Cohen earlier this year, Isla Fisher shared a cheeky comment referencing marriage, and people think there might be an underlying meaning to her message. In April 2024, Isla announced they jointly filed to end their marriage the year prior. On June 13, Isla revealed their divorce was officially finalized. The two were reportedly embroiled in a $75 million court battle. "Our divorce has now been finalised," they wrote via their Instagram Stories in June. "We are proud of all we've achieved together and, continuing our great respect for each other, we remain friends and committed to co-parenting our wonderful children. We ask for the media to continue to respect our children's privacy." The actors, who met at a party in 2002, have been together for more than 20 years and were married for 13 of them. Isla and Sacha share three children together — two girls and one boy. Along with keeping their relationship fairly private, the former couple has done the same with the identity of their kids. They haven't shared too much about the reason behind their divorce, but despite their decision to go their separate ways, the former couple said the split was amicable. Now, just one month after their marriage was officially dissolved, the Now You See Me: Now You Don't star shared an interesting quote on her Instagram Story, regarding women and their lack of desire to get married nowadays. She posted this earlier today: While I can't find credible sources to justify the statistic listed in her post, there are studies (look here and here) that show growing numbers of women who prefer to delay marriage rather than those being against it in its entirety. "It's not worth buying an entire pig, just to get a little sausage." Well, alright then! What are your thoughts on this? Let me know in the comments!
