Nsiala Rangers transfer exit latest as 'three clubs keen'
The centre-back, 21, has been tipped for a transfer exit from Ibrox this summer. Nsiala is not included in the [[Rangers]] squad for the Champions League qualifiers with boss Russell Martin admitting the player needs regular game time, which he is unlikely to receive in Glasgow. 🟣🇫🇷Clinton Nsiala attracting interest from RSC Anderlecht! 🤔🇸🇳While awaiting a response from Malang Sarr, #RSCA's exploring options as Rangers FC's Frenchman. 🇧🇪 #JPL, where clubs like Zulte-Waregem & KV Mechelen are also interested, is Nsiala's favorite destination. #mercato — Sacha Tavolieri (@sachatavolieri) July 19, 2025 However, Nsiala is not thought to be short of options for a new club this summer with three Belgian sides interested. He said: "Clinton... we signed Emmanuel, and I think Clinton's at a point in his at his age and his career, he needs to play all the time and every week. "He's trained really, really well. But I think it's, rather playing some part of the squad, a bit like last season, he's at a point now where he needs to go and play football and he's the best way to learn."

Clinton Nsiala has Rangers transfer exit options 'open'
The Daily Record claims both Zulte Waregem and Westerlo want the centre-back. The Belgian outfits have been made aware of Nsiala's availability, with Russell Martin previously admitting the defender's future probably lay elsewhere. The 21-year-old was drafted in at Ibrox just 12 months ago by former boss Philippe Clement. However, the club's change of strategy in the transfer market has seen them move away from Nsiala, who is likely to leave in this window.

Clinton Nsiala Rangers transfer latest amid exit suggestion
He was omitted from the squad for Rangers' first pre-season game against Club Brugge yesterday. The match finished 2-2 at Ibrox. Nsiala joined the club on a free transfer from AC Milan last summer but only made his debut due to an injury crisis in the defence earlier this year. The Frenchman became a regular under Philippe Clement before falling out of favour under Barry Ferguson during his interim spell in charge. Martin said: "Clinton... we signed Emmanuel, and I think Clinton's at a point in his at his age and his career, he needs to play all the time and every week. "He's trained really, really well. But I think it's, rather playing some part of the squad, a bit like last season, he's at a point now where he needs to go and play football and he's the best way to learn. "We've had a really good conversation, honest conversation. And he's trained really well. "I think it was an area we wanted to strengthen [centre-back] anyway and we will continue to strengthen. "So, to let [Clinton] know the situation really early is probably the best for him to find the best opportunity to play football."

Wrexham's James McClean takes swipe at relegated rivals
James McClean couldn't resist a dig at Wrexham's fierce rivals Shrewsbury Town following their relegation to League Two. While Wrexham are heading for the Championship after Saturday's 3-0 win over Charlton, bottom-of-the-league Shrewsbury were relegated the week before. In January, ex-Ireland star McClean was subjected to verbal abuse from some Shrews fans after Wrexham's 2-1 defeat to them on the road. At the time, a post on McClean's social media - later deleted - said: 'In fairness if I was born and raised in Shrewsbury I'd probably be this angry as well cause it's an absolute cesspit full of inbreds.' In the dying stages of that January game, Shrewsbury Town defender Toto Nsiala upended McClean with a strong tackle in the eighth minute of added-time. It fired up the Shrewsbury fans and an energised Nsiala then roared in McClean's direction, as the Wrexham ace went to protest with the referee. But over the weekend, with Wrexham's promotion confirmed and Shrewsbury heading in the other direction, McClean had a pop on social media. The Derry man posted a screenshot of Nsiala's tackle on him, and wrote: "Toto, I don't think we are in League One no more. Enjoy celebrating tackles in League Two, it's good craic numpty. Be the bigger man... never." Ryan Reynolds has said Wrexham have made "history" despite doubters believing him and fellow co-owner Rob McElhenney were either joking or crazy to think their dreams of being in the Premier League could be possible. The Welsh club on Saturday earned a place in the Championship with their third promotion in a row, bringing them one step away from the Premier League. Hollywood stars McElhenney and Reynolds watched from the stands as Wrexham finished with a 3-0 home win over Charlton at the Sky Bet League One match at SToK Racecourse. In an Instagram post on Sunday, 48-year-old actor Reynolds said: 'We've been with Wrexham for what seems like the blink of an eye, but so much has happened. 'I remember the first press conference, we were asked what our goals were… and I think Rob jumped in with, 'The Premiere League.' People laughed. They had every right to. It seemed insane… But we weren't kidding.'
