Ye Says He Misses Pusha T's ‘Friendship' After Being Name-Dropped in New Clipse Song

Ye (formerly Kanye West) misses the G.O.O.D. times. Yeezy took to X on Friday (May 30), extending an olive branch to his former right-hand collaborator, Pusha T, after King Push name-dropped West on the new Clipse single. More from Billboard A Look at All the Rappers Ye Has Beefed With Linkin Park Perform 'In the End', 'Numb' at UEFA Final in Munich Duran Duran Reunite With Nile Rodgers at Abbey Road Studios 'I miss me and Pusha's friendship,' Ye wrote of his ex-G.O.O.D. Music president. West seemed to get wind of Pusha's jab at him on the Pharrell-produced 'Ace Trumpets,' which is the lead single from Clipse's Let God Sort Em Out album. 'Sold ecstasy and disappeared, I am Whodini/ Look at them, him and him, still waitin' on Yeezy/ I hope you got your squeegees/ At your interviews, I just ki-ki,' the Virginia native raps. Pusha T stood in West's corner for years before reaching his breaking point and distanced himself from G.O.O.D. Music and Ye in 2022 after a series of controversial statements surrounding antisemitism and political affiliations from West were too much to bear. '[It's] nothing to tap dance around. It's wrong. Period,' Push told XXL in 2022. 'But to me, it's just me and him having a difference of opinion yet again.' He continued: 'If you ain't with it, you ain't down. And I ain't with it. I'm not budging on that. I'm not with it. I heard about this new [Infowars] stuff. I don't know. It's something that just sort of tells me he's not well, at the same time. I will say that. It's going to places where it's no way to move around it.' Pusha T joined the G.O.O.D. Music family in 2010 and remained with the label through his 2022 album It's Almost Dry. Ye produced the entirety of his 2018 Daytona album, which was nominated for a Grammy Award. West also helmed half the production of It's Almost Dry, while Pharrell held down the other half. It remains to be seen if Ye and Push can make amends in the coming months. Clipse's Let God Sort Em Out album drops on July 11. Listen to 'Ace Trumpets' below. 50 Cent Says He's Going to ‘Make Sure' Trump's Aware of ‘Really Bad' Things Diddy Said About President

50 Cent is making his feelings about Sean 'Diddy' Combs known to Donald Trump after the president relayed that he'd 'look at the facts' of the embattled music mogul's sex trafficking case regarding a potential pardon. '[Diddy] said some really bad things about Trump, it's not ok. I'm gonna reach out so he knows how I feel about this guy,' 50 Cent wrote in a since-deleted May 30 post to Instagram captured by Rolling Stone. 'Donald doesn't take well to disrespect, and doesn't forget who chooses to go against him. While working tirelessly to make America great again there is no room for distraction. He would consider pardoning anyone who was being mistreated not Puffy Daddy.' More from Billboard President Trump Says He'd 'Look at the Facts' When Considering Potential Diddy Pardon Linkin Park Perform 'In the End', 'Numb' at UEFA Final in Munich Duran Duran Reunite With Nile Rodgers at Abbey Road Studios 50's sentiments made headlines, and he responded to The Daily Beast's article with another post to IG on Sunday (June 1). 'I didn't say I would Nuke anything, I simply said I will make sure Trump is aware,' he clarified. Fans had plenty to say about 50 being relentless in keeping his beef with Diddy alive. 'Your biggest mistake in life is making 50 your opp,' one person wrote in his comment section. Billboard has reached out to Diddy's team for comment. On Friday, Trump was asked about potentially pardoning Diddy if the mogul ends up getting convicted in his case, which he's currently on trial for. The president detailed how he and Diddy used to be friendly, but that changed since entering the political realm. 'I haven't spoken to him in years,' Trump said. 'He used to really like me a lot. I think when I ran for politics, that relationship busted up. … I would certainly look at the facts. If I think somebody was mistreated, whether they like me or don't like me, it wouldn't have any impact on me.' 50 hasn't taken his foot off the gas when it comes to continuously trolling Diddy, who remains behind bars during his trial. The Queens icon even posted what appeared to be himself rocking an AI-generated 'Free Diddy' T-shirt while at an NBA game between the New York Knicks and Indiana Pacers last week. Diddy is facing charges of sex trafficking and racketeering. His trial is expected to last into July, and Combs could be sentenced to life in prison if found guilty on all of Billboard Chart Rewind: In 1989, New Kids on the Block Were 'Hangin' Tough' at No. 1 Janet Jackson's Biggest Billboard Hot 100 Hits H.E.R. & Chris Brown 'Come Through' to No. 1 on Adult R&B Airplay Chart

Linkin Park Nearly Doubles The Competition's Chart Success

Linkin Park dominates the Official Rock and Metal Singles chart in the U.K. with seven songs, more ... More than any other rock act this week. LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - MARCH 17: (FOR EDITORIAL USE ONLY) (L-R) Colin Brittain, Emily Armstrong, Mike Shinoda and Joe Hahn of Linkin Park attend the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards at Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California on March 17, 2025. Broadcasted live on FOX. (Photo byfor iHeartRadio) To this day, Linkin Park remains one of the most commercially successful rock bands of the modern era. In the United Kingdom, the group continues to find space on the charts — not just with the classics that made the nu-metal favorites superstars a quarter-century ago, but also with comeback tunes released just months ago. Such longevity is rare among rock acts, especially those that helped pioneer a style many would argue has largely disappeared. But Linkin Park continues to stand out as a commercial force, both with full-length projects and singles. This week, the group dominates one songs chart in the U.K., with multiple comeback cuts appearing near one another. Linkin Park manages to beat all other rock groups from every era with ease, and almost doubles the total sum of a handful of the biggest and best to ever do it. Linkin Park fills seven spaces on the Official Rock and Metal Singles chart this week. The tally, which ranks the bestselling tunes in those styles, only features 40 spots, so claiming even just a handful of positions is quite the coup. Half of Linkin Park's current hits return to the Official Rock and Metal Singles chart. "One Step Closer," "What I've Done," and "Heavy" reenter the list at Nos. 30, 34, and 39, respectively. Four other tracks by Linkin Park — "Numb," "The Emptiness Machine," "Faint," and "Up From the Bottom" — are also still present on the Official Rock and Metal Singles chart at the moment. "Numb" is the highest-ranking of the bunch, as it holds at No. 9. Both "The Emptiness Machine" and "Faint" climb from where they sat last time, this week settling at Nos. 13 and 28, respectively. "Up From the Bottom," meanwhile, reverses course and drops from No. 27 to No. 35. Linkin Park's seven current hits become even more impressive when compared to the next most successful names on the Official Rock and Metal Singles tally. Both Queen and AC/DC are tied for the second-most smashes this time around, with four apiece. Linkin Park nearly matches those bands' cumulative sum.
