Ye Says He Misses Pusha T's ‘Friendship' After Being Name-Dropped in New Clipse Song
Ye (formerly Kanye West) misses the G.O.O.D. times.
Yeezy took to X on Friday (May 30), extending an olive branch to his former right-hand collaborator, Pusha T, after King Push name-dropped West on the new Clipse single.

'I miss me and Pusha's friendship,' Ye wrote of his ex-G.O.O.D. Music president. West seemed to get wind of Pusha's jab at him on the Pharrell-produced 'Ace Trumpets,' which is the lead single from Clipse's Let God Sort Em Out album.
'Sold ecstasy and disappeared, I am Whodini/ Look at them, him and him, still waitin' on Yeezy/ I hope you got your squeegees/ At your interviews, I just ki-ki,' the Virginia native raps.
Pusha T stood in West's corner for years before reaching his breaking point and distanced himself from G.O.O.D. Music and Ye in 2022 after a series of controversial statements surrounding antisemitism and political affiliations from West were too much to bear.
'[It's] nothing to tap dance around. It's wrong. Period,' Push told XXL in 2022. 'But to me, it's just me and him having a difference of opinion yet again.'
He continued: 'If you ain't with it, you ain't down. And I ain't with it. I'm not budging on that. I'm not with it. I heard about this new [Infowars] stuff. I don't know. It's something that just sort of tells me he's not well, at the same time. I will say that. It's going to places where it's no way to move around it.'
Pusha T joined the G.O.O.D. Music family in 2010 and remained with the label through his 2022 album It's Almost Dry. Ye produced the entirety of his 2018 Daytona album, which was nominated for a Grammy Award. West also helmed half the production of It's Almost Dry, while Pharrell held down the other half.
It remains to be seen if Ye and Push can make amends in the coming months. Clipse's Let God Sort Em Out album drops on July 11.

Jamie Foxx is not pulling punches when it comes to his thoughts on the Sean 'Diddy' Combs' New York sex trafficking and racketeering trial. During a recent appearance at the Comedy Store in Los Angeles, the actor/singer lashed out at the disgraced former music mogul who he once honored at Diddy's 2008 Hollywood Walk of Fame induction ceremony. 'Diddy is fu–in' crazy, huh?' Foxx said in footage shared by Urban Hollywood. 'I don't know if he is going to jail, but he is a nasty motherf–er. Am I right? Especially for us… white people like, 'It's cool,' but for Black people… that was our hero. All that g–damn baby oil, boy! Why you so nasty, Diddy?' When officers raided Combs' homes in Los Angeles and Miami last March prosecutors said they found drugs as well as more than 1,000 bottles of lubricant and baby oil. Foxx opened up about the rumors surrounding his mystery illness last month in a chat with The Hollywood Reporter, shooting down the allegations that Diddy tried to have him killed via poisoning. 'I'm in f—ing perfect shape. [I saw things like,] 'Puffy tried to kill me.' No, Puffy didn't try to kill me. When they said I was a clone, that made me flip,' Foxx said. 'I'm sitting in the hospital bed, like, 'These b—h-a– motherf—ers are trying to clone me.'' While a spokesperson for Combs did not reply to Billboard's request for a comment on the allegations, his team has repeatedly said the rumor was false and unfounded. Foxx also addressed the allegations in his What Had Happened Was… Netflix special in December, in which he said, 'The internet said Puffy was trying to kill me, that's what the internet was saying. I know what you thinking, 'Diddy?' Hell no, I left them parties early. I was out by 9. 'Something don't look right… it looks slippery in here!' The Combs trial is in its fourth week and on Wednesday (June 4) Bryana Bongolan, a friend of Diddy's ex, prosecution star witness Cassie Ventura, alleged that Diddy dangled her over a 17th-floor apartment balcony in 2016 before shoving her into the balcony's furniture. Combs is facing five criminal counts of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion and transportation to engage in prostitution, charges that could land him in prison for the rest of his life; Combs has denied the allegations against him. Preview capsule for the NBA Finals matchup between Indiana and Oklahoma City
No. 4 Indiana Pacers (50-32, 12-4) vs. No. 1 Oklahoma City Thunder (68-14, 12-4) Season series: Thunder, 2-0. Schedule: Game 1 at Oklahoma City on Thursday, Game 2 at Oklahoma City on Sunday, Game 3 at Indiana on June 11, Game 4 at Indiana on June 13, Game 5 at Oklahoma City on June 16 (if necessary), Game 6 at Indiana on June 19 (if necessary), Game 7 at Oklahoma City on June 22 (if necessary). How they got here: Oklahoma City overwhelmed Memphis in a first-round sweep, survived seven games against 2023 NBA champion Denver, then eliminated Minnesota in five games in the Western Conference finals. The Thunder finished off the series in a romp, leading by 39 points in a 124-94 victory, and are winning by about 11 points per game in the postseason. The Pacers aren't as dominant but find a way at the finish, taking out Milwaukee and top-seeded Cleveland in five games before knocking off New York in six in the East finals. Their four victories after trailing by 17 or more points are the most by a team in a single postseason. Storyline: The small markets get the big stage. For Oklahoma City, it's a second trip to the NBA Finals since moving from Seattle in 2008. The Thunder lost in their first try against Miami in 2012 but are heavy favorites in this one after compiling the NBA's best record behind MVP and scoring champion Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. The Pacers are making just their second NBA Finals appearance, having lost to the Lakers in 2000. Key matchup: Tyrese Haliburton vs. Lu Dort, Alex Caruso, Cason Wallace and Gilgeous-Alexander. Nobody can throw as many good defensive guards at a team as the Thunder, as Anthony Edwards found out when Oklahoma City limited him to 12-for-31 shooting in the final two games of the West finals. Haliburton is having a memorable postseason, hitting three game-winning or game-tying shots and topping all players with 9.8 assists. But the Thunder limited him well in the two regular-season matchups, holding the All-NBA point guard to 11 points and 5.5 assists per game. X-factor: Indiana's defense. The Pacers are potent, with their 117.4 points per game in the postseason the second-highest ever by a team entering the NBA Finals. But even they can't count on offense alone against a top defensive squad like Oklahoma City. The Pacers are going to have to slow down the Thunder and showed no signs of being able to in the regular season, as Oklahoma City reached 30 points in six of the eight quarters they played and averaged 126 per game. Prediction: The Thunder are top-to-bottom the best team in the NBA. The Pacers' road success and high-scoring offense allow them to compete in this series but not win it. Damian Lazarus is bringing his longstanding Day Zero party to Brazil in 2026. The event will happen Jan. 3 in São Miguel dos Milagres, Brazil, located on the country's northern coast in the state of Alagoas. Details regarding the lineup will be announced in the coming months. Bookings will presumably fuse the rich musical heritage of the country, a major hotbed for electronic music, with the global house and techno artists that Day Zero has long booked.
