Ye Says He Misses Pusha T's ‘Friendship' After Being Name-Dropped in New Clipse Song

'I miss me and Pusha's friendship,' Ye wrote of his ex-G.O.O.D. Music president. West seemed to get wind of Pusha's jab at him on the Pharrell-produced 'Ace Trumpets,' which is the lead single from Clipse's Let God Sort Em Out album.
'Sold ecstasy and disappeared, I am Whodini/ Look at them, him and him, still waitin' on Yeezy/ I hope you got your squeegees/ At your interviews, I just ki-ki,' the Virginia native raps.
Pusha T stood in West's corner for years before reaching his breaking point and distanced himself from G.O.O.D. Music and Ye in 2022 after a series of controversial statements surrounding antisemitism and political affiliations from West were too much to bear.
'[It's] nothing to tap dance around. It's wrong. Period,' Push told XXL in 2022. 'But to me, it's just me and him having a difference of opinion yet again.'
He continued: 'If you ain't with it, you ain't down. And I ain't with it. I'm not budging on that. I'm not with it. I heard about this new [Infowars] stuff. I don't know. It's something that just sort of tells me he's not well, at the same time. I will say that. It's going to places where it's no way to move around it.'
Pusha T joined the G.O.O.D. Music family in 2010 and remained with the label through his 2022 album It's Almost Dry. Ye produced the entirety of his 2018 Daytona album, which was nominated for a Grammy Award. West also helmed half the production of It's Almost Dry, while Pharrell held down the other half.
It remains to be seen if Ye and Push can make amends in the coming months. Clipse's Let God Sort Em Out album drops on July 11.

Zach Bryan's New Single Launches Inside The Top 10 On Multiple Charts
Zach Bryan has released more than half a dozen singles in 2025 alone, and it's not yet clear how many of them will be included on his upcoming project. What is apparent is that his latest single, "Madeline,' a duet with relatively unknown musician Gabriella Rose, is another quick smash for the singer-songwriter, one that returns him to the highest tiers on several Billboard rankings. 'Madeline' Opens Inside the Top 10 "Madeline" launches on more than half a dozen tallies in the United States this week. The tune opens inside the top 10 on three of them, thanks primarily to its quick popularity on streaming platforms. Bryan's duet with Rose opens highest, at No. 8, on the Hot Rock Songs chart. It comes in just one spot beneath that slot on the Rock Streaming Songs list, and at No. 10 on the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs tally. A Milestone New Smash Bryan earns his milestone thirtieth top 10 hit on the Hot Rock Songs chart as "Madeline" debuts. He only needs one more win within the same region on the Rock Streaming Songs list to reach the same landmark there as well. Meanwhile, the newly-shared collaboration marks his twenty-sixth top 10 smash on Billboard's ranking of the most consumed rock and alternative tracks in the nation. Zach Bryan's Many, Many Rock Hits When looking at his total number of placements on these three lists, there's a greater variation when compared to his top 10 successes. Bryan has now scored 47 hits on the Rock Streaming Songs ranking, while he's up to 80 on the Hot Rock Songs list, and two more on the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs tally. Zach Bryan Almost Reaches the Country Top 10 "Madeline" comes close to the top 10 on a trio of country rankings, but doesn't perform quite as well as it does on the rock-leaning charts. The track misses the highest tier on the Hot Country Songs, Country Streaming Songs, and Country Digital Song Sales lists by just a few spaces. The tune also opens at No. 62 on the Hot 100, where Bryan is quickly approaching 50 placements. With Heaven on Top It appears that "Madeline" will be included on With Heaven on Top, Bryan's forthcoming project. Originally marketed as an EP, it now appears the singer-songwriter and Grammy winner may turn it into a full-length effort. At the moment, With Heaven on Top is scheduled to be released on January 9, 2026.

A settler accused of killing a Palestinian activist is to be freed. Israel still holds the body
TEL AVIV, Israel (AP) — An Israeli settler accused of killing a prominent Palestinian activist during a confrontation captured on video in the occupied West Bank will be released from house arrest, an Israeli court ruled Friday. The video shot by a Palestinian witness shows Yinon Levi brandishing a pistol and tussling with a group of unarmed Palestinians. He can be seen firing two shots, but the video does not show where the bullets hit. Witnesses said one of the shots killed Awdah Hathaleen, an English teacher and father of three, who was uninvolved and was standing nearby. The Israeli military is still holding Hathaleen's body and says it will only be returned if the family agrees to bury him in a nearby city. It said the measure was being taken to 'prevent public disorder.' The confrontation occurred on Monday in the village of Umm al-Khair, in an area of the West Bank featured in 'No Other Land,' an Oscar-winning documentary about settler violence and life under Israeli military rule. In a court decision obtained by The Associated Press, Judge Havi Toker wrote that there was 'no dispute' that Levi shot his gun in the village that day, but she said he may have been acting in self-defense and that the court could not establish that the shots killed Hathaleen. Israel's military and police did not respond to a request for comment on whether anyone else may have fired shots that day. Multiple calls placed to Levi and his lawyer have not been answered. The judge said Levi did not pose such a danger as to justify his continued house arrest but barred him from contact with the villagers for a month. Levi has been sanctioned by the United States and other Western countries over allegations of past violence toward Palestinians. President Donald Trump lifted the U.S. sanctions on Levi and other radical settlers shortly after returning to office. A total of 18 Palestinians from the village were arrested after the incident. Six remain in detention. Eitay Mack, an Israeli lawyer who has lobbied for sanctions against radical settlers, including Levi, said the court ruling did not come as a surprise. 'Automatically, Palestinian victims are considered suspects, while Jewish suspects are considered victims,' he said. Levi helped establish an settler outpost near Umm al-Khair that anti-settlement activists say is a bastion for violent settlers who have displaced hundreds since the start of the Israel-Hamas war. Palestinians and rights groups have long accused Israeli authorities of turning a blind eye to settler violence, which has surged since the outbreak of the Israel-Hamas war, along with attacks by Palestinians. In a 2024 interview, Levi said he was protecting his own land and denied using violence. Some 70 women in Umm al-Khair said they were beginning a hunger strike on Friday to call for Hathaleen's body to be returned and for the right of his family to bury him in the village. Israel's military said in a statement to the AP that it would return the body if the family agrees to bury him in the 'nearest authorized cemetery.' Hathaleen, 31, had written and spoke out against settler violence, and had helped produce the Oscar-winning film. Supporters have erected murals in his honor in Rome, held vigils in New York and have held signs bearing his name at anti-war protests in Tel Aviv.
