The Wiggles coming to Perth for energetic, magical live show

The Wiggles are set to perform in Perth later this year, celebrating the popular character The Tree of Wisdom, played by the nephew of original Blue Wiggle Anthony Field. The children's entertainers are kicking off a festive Tree of Wisdom Australian tour in Perth at RAC Arena on November 1. This high-energy extravaganza set in a spectacular 360-degree arena show is sure to have the whole family singing, dancing and Wiggling as the man behind the twirling trunk, Dominic Field, and friends take centre stage. Field's character, The Tree of Wisdom, has taken the internet by storm with his signature dance moves going viral on social media and reaching a parent fan base that includes Khloe Kardashian. The tour will also celebrate the release of The Wiggles' new album, set to come out on October 3, with two singles available now. The tracks, unveiled on Tuesday, include a re-imagining of Tina Turner's Nutbush City Limits sung by Yellow Wiggle Tsehay Hawkins and Field and a nonsense-fuelled anthem Rika-Pudy-Fan-Dan-Doogly. The Wiggles founder Anthony Field said the group 'wanted to surprise everyone with something big - and what's bigger than a big dancing tree'. Tsehay Hawkins and Dominic Field. 'There's something about Dom's energy that brings joy to everyone in the room … I'm a very proud uncle. 'We can't wait for audiences across Australia to experience this spectacular show, especially our performance at the incredible Tamworth Country Music Festival!' The Aussie shows are also set to feature timeless hits and sing-along moments from fan favourites including Rock-A-Bye Your Bear, Fruit Salad Yummy Yummy and Hot Potato! Plus all new favourites like Big Red Ute and Bin Night. The Tree of Wisdom played by Dominic Field. The performance promises a night of high-energy music, glittering costumes, and powerhouse vocals. The show has toured across the UK and Europe, including appearances at the Cover Festival in Davos, Switzerland (Image: JandroMarch) Ms Riddoch said: "I am thrilled by the success of this production – we have come so far. "Having been told on many occasions that I sounded like Tina, I decided to take the plunge and then spent hours familiarising myself with her life story and scrutinising video footage to watch mannerisms and body movements. "We always add our own personality to the show each year; the element of surprise keeps things fresh, but my ultimate aim is to remain faithful to a Tina Turner live concert, paying tribute to her career, and bring the best version of this amazing woman – her voice, her passion, and even her legs – to her many fans. "That's why we love it when people tell us that they go away feeling as though they have seen the real thing." 17 Aussie-Only Things The Rest Of The World Won't Get

So, today I'm here to debunk this ~conspiracy~ — not with a world map or any explanation about our history but with a list of experiences that only exist in Australia. "Walking around with your dogs (toes) out and touching bare concrete." "Swapping dinners with whoever's sitting next to you at a wedding." "Eating crisp potato wedges with sweet chilli sauce and sour cream." — u/lewin11This is actually an insanely delicious combo and it breaks my heart that not everyone's experience it. A hot potato wedge that has a perfectly fried crust, dipped into cold sour cream and sweet chilli sauce is TRULY tangy, sweet and satiating. "Drinking a lemon lime and bitters anywhere that serves it." "Slapping beetroot on a burger and accepting its presence in each bite." "Half-flushing the toilet after peeing." Cheering "hip, hip, hooray" after singing someone "Happy Birthday". Voting during political elections is compulsory. Saying "heaps", "I reckon" and adding "but" to the end of sentences. — u/Nebs90, u/flintmichigantropics "We also are the only ones who use 'but' at the end of our sentences. 'It's the same size but' or 'it's not that interesting but'. When I lived overseas and added a 'but' at the end of my sentence everyone would look at me and ask "but what?" Haha I don't know, maybe that's just a WA thing but."— u/Warm-Candle-6615Here's an example: I reckon putting heaps of chicken salt on your chips is sick but. Smothering your hot chips with ✨CHICKEN SALT✨. Calling this symbol ❤️ a "love heart", not just a "heart". "Cooking on a free (or coin-operated) electric barbecue at the park." Dancing a very specific sequence of steps to "Nutbush, City Limits" by Ike and Tina Turner "Try talking to an American and asking them if they can do 'The Nutbush'... The looks... ohhh the looks."— u/FantasticOlive7568We learn this sequence of steps — called 'The Nutbush' — from a very young age and continue to dance them at school discos, weddings, events and more. Even if you try to forget it, you can't stop yourself when you hear the opening beats to "Nutbush City Limits". Begging your parents for a price-y themed bag full of merch and/or candy (AKA a showbag) at every carnival and fair. "Playing cricket on the beach on Christmas Day." Drinking cappuccinos sprinkled with chocolate powder. And finally, eating French toast as a savoury food rather than dessert. What was the most surprising thing on this list?
