Woman injured in collision involving police vehicle

An investigation is under way after a crash involving a pedestrian and a police vehicle in Nottinghamshire. Police said the collision happened at around 15:45 BST on Tuesday in Woodhouse Way, Nuthall. The pedestrian, a woman in her 60s, was treated at the scene by paramedics but her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. A section of the M1 has been closed after a "serious" crash in Police confirmed the northbound carriageway of the M1 was closed between junctions 25 and 26 following the incident just after 19:00 slip roads at junction 26 near Nuthall were also shut in both A610 from Nuthall Interchange, where the incident took place, to the roundabout with Woodhouse Way was also closed. Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed it was at the scene, assisting police with the incident, and advised drivers to avoid the area and the M1 where possible.

Cops hunt man who ‘flashed' two children in broad daylight as CCTV released

COPS have launched an urgent for a man who exposed himself to two children in broad daylight as CCTV is released. The man is believed to have flashed in front of the two kids in Nuthall, Nottinghamshire on March 23. Police have since released CCTV footage of the suspect and have appealed to the public to come forward with any information. PC Laura MacTavish of Nottinghamshire Police said: 'This was a totally unacceptable incident that understandably left the child victims very upset. "We treat all offences of this nature extremely seriously and our investigation continues. 'We have released an image of a man that we'd like to speak to about what happened, so we'd urge anyone who recognises him to get in touch with us immediately. "Anyone with information is asked to contact Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident 430 of 23 March 2025.' 1
