In 2024 we got to witness the astronomical rise of pop superstar Chappell Roan. The 'Good Luck, Babe!' singer played a whistlestop tour around the UK, including three nights at the O2 Academy Brixton, and ended up top of Time Out's list of the best songs of 2024. After announcing a headline show at Reading Festival 2025, it was looking like that would be the only chance to see Chappell in Britain this year. But... that has just changed. The Midwest Princess has announced more huge UK shows this summer, and will be performing at the Edinburgh Summer Sessions this August. Roan revealed plans for a first Edinburgh Summer Sessions show last week, but after tickets sold out in minutes she's since added a second. When is Chappell Roan playing the Edinburgh Summer Sessions? Chappell will hit the stage at Royal Highland Showgrounds on Tuesday, August 26 2025 and Wednesday August 27 2025. The August 27 was the second one to be added. When do tickets go on sale? The general sale for the second show kicks off on Wednesday April 16 at 10am. You can get tickets directly on the Summer Sessions website, or through Ticketmaster. How much do tickets cost? Chappell Roan ticket prices have been confirmed at £72.80 (including fees) with a per order handling fee of £3.25, according to Ticketmaster. Is there a presale? There is one presale for the second Chappell Roan show, an hour before general sale. Waiting list subscribers will get presale access on Wednesday, April 16 at 9am. What about VIP? There are VIP tickets, and these will set you back £110.90 plus handling fees. This ticket gets you access to 'an exclusive area within the event arena, offering views of the main stage'.

Huge musician pulls out of all band performances for the year 'Hasn't been easy'
Adam Anderson, one half of the Manchester based duo, will not be appearing at Hurts' upcoming 'Happiness' anniversary shows this summer so that he can focus on his wellbeing A rock star has made the difficult decision to withdraw from all his performances for the remainder of the year. Manchester-based band, Hurts, is set to celebrate the 15th anniversary of their debut album this summer with a series of shows, including a significant gig at the O2 Academy Brixton in London on May 22. However, Adam Anderson of Hurts will not be participating in the duo's upcoming 'Happiness' anniversary shows, choosing instead to concentrate on his mental health and well-being. In an Instagram post, Anderson shared: "As many of you know I've been struggling with my mental health for years now. Sadly, due to my ongoing recovery, I have taken the very difficult decision to sit out all forthcoming HURTS shows this year and focus solely on my well-being." "It hasn't been an easy decision, but it's the right thing for me to do at this time." He expressed his gratitude towards his bandmate, saying: "I want to express my love and gratitude to Theo for his understanding and supporting me in making this decision. All shows will go ahead as planned with Theo taking centre stage and I couldn't be happier that they're taking place." Anderson also apologised to fans, stating: "You've supported me as an individual and the band for so many years and I have never taken it for granted. I don't want anyone to worry about me. I am doing my best to recover with a good support system around me and I look forward to getting better." His fans were quick to respond with messages of support, with one saying: "Adam, take care of yourself! We love you very much and wish you a speedy recovery!!! We are waiting for you!" chimed in another fan. "Thank you for your honest words and you don't need to apologise, your health is the most important thing. We will celebrate and support Theo and the band at the concerts celebrating the anniversary of your wonderful album. And we will meet again." Loyle Carner announces 3Arena concert
Singer Loyle Carner has announced a concert at Dublin's 3Arena. The musician will play in Dublin on November 9th, 2025, with tickets going on sale on Friday, May 2nd, at 9am. Advertisement The gig is part of a newly announced global tour following his headline Glastonbury set, and features a four-night residency at London's O2 Academy Brixton. Carner also announced the release of his new album, hopefully !, which will come out on June 20th. The musician, writer, director, producer, entrepreneur and actor first emerged with his 2013 A Little Late EP, and has since found a signature blend of lyricism with genre-disruptive sounds. His debut album, Yesterday's Gone, was released in 2017 and untangled personal experiences of grief and the pressures of coming of age. His second album, 2019's Not Waving, But Drowning, was followed up by hugo in 2022, which secured his second Top 3 album. Album presale for Carner's 3Arena concert opens at 9am on April 30th, with MCD presale beginning on May 1st at 12pm and tickets available for general sale at 9am on May 2nd.
