Directed by Anurag Basu, Metro… In Dino is a spiritual successor to the 2007 film Life in a… Metro and explores multiple urban relationships. The song's music video gives a glimpse into the lives of its ensemble cast. Sara Ali Khan and Aditya Roy Kapur share a gentle romantic arc, where he sees her off at the metro. Konkona Sen Sharma's character seems hesitant about accepting affection from Pankaj Tripathi.
