Iraq, Russia Discuss Energy Cooperation

By John Lee. Iraq's Minister of Oil, Hayan Abdul Ghani Al-Sawad, met on Sunday with Russian Ambassador to Baghdad, Elbrus Kutrashev, and a delegation from Russia's OMK Group. Discussions focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation in the oil, gas, and energy sectors. According to its LinkedIn page, United Metallurgical Company (OMK) is one of Russia's largest producers of pipes, railway wheels and other steel products for energy, transport and industrial companies.
