The Thai star has the skills, the look and the coveted X-factor that make him one of the most electrifying Muay Thai fighters of his generation. By his own standards, though, he had not quite produced the goods in recent fights despite grinding out the wins.
But that changed in his last outing.
At ONE 170, the P.K. Saenchai Muay Thai Gym stand-out produced a stunning knockout to defend his Muay Thai belt in a rematch with kickboxing champion Superbon. The 25-year-old delivered a performance for the ages – expert technique blended with deadly precision – to put away a legend.
Tawanchai is eager to put in another big performance on what will be a stacked card at the Saitama Super Arena on March 23, and relishes the opportunity to fight in Japan.
'I'm very excited for this card, and I'm very happy to be a part of the card in Japan because I really love Japan,' he said.
