The downtrend was largely influenced by global market cues. As the trading session opens on May 23, here are the key stocks and company developments that may warrant investor attention: Stocks in Focus ITC : Cigarette volume growth aligned with estimates; revenue exceeded expectations. TVS Motor : Entered a memorandum of understanding with OOR Cabs to deploy 500 electric three-wheelers in Tamil Nadu. Trent, BEL : Scheduled to be included in the BSE Sensex Index from June 23. Nestle, IndusInd Bank : Set to be excluded from the BSE Sensex Index, effective June 23. Metro Brands : Reported a 24.3% year-on-year rise in EBITDA, with margins improving to 30.7% from 27.2%. TVS Motor, OOR cabs join hands to deploy 500 EVs in TN
TVS Motor Company on Thursday entered into a pact with cab aggregator startup OOR Cabs , to supply 500 TVS King EV MAX electric three-wheelers during the financial year 2025-26. According to a company release, this partnership is aimed at promoting sustainable urban mobility across Tamil Nadu. "As part of the initiative, OOR Cabs will deploy the vehicles for eco-friendly intra-city passenger services, beginning with Trichy (Tiruchirappally), and progressively expand operations to Madurai and Coimbatore. The integration of these electric vehicles into OOR Cabs' fleet reinforces both companies' commitment to cleaner, more efficient transportation solutions," it said. TVS King EV Max's features including Bluetooth connectivity and quick charging capability have been customised in line with OOR Cabs' vision of delivering an enhanced passenger experience. Rajat Gupta, Business Head - Commercial Mobility, TVS Motor Company, said, "We are delighted to partner with OOR Cabs in accelerating the shift towards green mobility in India." As part of the event, the first batch of TVS King EV Max vehicles were delivered to customers. A total of 10 units were ceremonially handed over during the event held in Tiruchirappalli.

TVS Motor signs MoU with OOR Cabs to deploy 500 electric three-wheelers in Tamil Nadu
TVS Motor Company has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with OOR Cabs Pvt. Ltd., a technology-driven mobility platform, to supply 500 TVS King EV MAX electric three-wheelers during the financial year 2025-26. This collaboration aims to support sustainable urban mobility in Tamil Nadu. Under the agreement, OOR Cabs will deploy the electric three-wheelers initially in Trichy for intra-city passenger services, with plans to expand operations to Madurai and Coimbatore. The integration of these vehicles into OOR Cabs' fleet aligns with efforts to promote cleaner and more efficient transportation solutions. The TVS King EV MAX features a range of 179 km on a full charge, Bluetooth connectivity via TVS SmartXonnect™, quick charging capabilities, and an ergonomic design tailored to improve passenger comfort. OOR Cabs' customized vehicles will include on-board drinking water facilities, thermal insulation on the roof for better cabin comfort, and mobile charging ports to enhance the passenger experience. OOR Cabs aims to gradually increase its electric vehicle fleet by adding 20 to 30 vehicles each month. The initiative also focuses on empowering both male and female drivers and creating sustainable livelihoods in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.
