CM invited to launch hostels, key projects at OU

Revanth Reddy
at his residence and invited him to inaugurate, launch and lay the foundation stone for various buildings and projects on the university campus on Aug 21.
The OU VC claimed that Revanth will be the first chief minister in 20 years to address a large gathering on the university campus.
The chief minister was invited to launch a scheme to provide financial assistance to students going on foreign trips, as well as the 'CM Research Fellowship.' He will also invited to inaugurate two hostel buildings with a total capacity of 1,200 students, constructed at a cost of 80 crore.

The VC further requested the chief minister to lay the foundation stone for two new hostels to accommodate an additional 300 students.
These new facilities will add to the existing 25 hostels on the campus, which currently houses 7,223 students.
Revanth was also invited to launch the work on the construction of a digital library reading room to be constructed at a cost of 10 crore and deliver a lecture on 'Government's action plan for changes in Telangana Education Sector' at Tagore Auditorium. Around 1,000 students and professors are expected to attend the programme. Ministers Ponnam Prabhakar and Adluri Laxman Kumar have also been invited to the events on the campus.
