‘Tracker' season 3 cast changes: See who isn't coming back

Season 3 of 'Tracker' premieres on CBS on Sunday, October 19, but some stars aren't returning for the next chapter. Eric Graise (Bobby Exley) and Abby McEnany (Velma Bruin) both left the action drama series after season 2, TVLine confirmed in July. The exits came after Graise was absent from six episodes last season. Graise and McEnany's departures leave just two original 'Tracker' stars on the cast: Justin Hartley, who plays titular tracker Colter Shaw, and Fiona Rene, who plays attorney Reenie Greene. Robin Weigert, who played Colter's handler Teddi Bruin, previously left the show after season 1. The lack of a consistent ensemble cast kind of works for 'Tracker.' The protagonist, Colter, is a lone wolf who travels the country on his own, solving cases in exchange for reward money. Most of Hartley's conversations with Graise and McEnany's characters took place over the phone. 'Tracker' executive producer Elwood Reid told Us Weekly in May that he didn't 'want the show to be 'phone a friend' every week,' something Hartley agrees with him on. 'Justin is always challenging me on that. He's like, 'Do we need to do this? Do I need to call Bobby all the time?'' Reid said. Chris Lee, who plays Bobby's cousin Randy, will reprise his role in season 3. 'Randy came in and also gave something to the show that was different. There was a real warmth and fun when he came in,' Reid told Us Weekly in an interview published on Tuesday, August 12. 'It was something that I think we were missing a little bit too in some episodes. He just was immediately fun when he came in. … That's all stuff we're going to continue to play with in season 3 as the show evolves.' Of course, Hartley will be back, as will Rene. Jensen Ackles, who guest starred on season 2 of 'Tracker,' will make another appearance as Colter's brother Russell Shaw on season 3. He confirmed his involvement in a July Instagram video, filming himself outside two trailers with the names 'Colter' and 'Russell' on them. Listen to ‘The Empty Grave of Comrade Bishop'

Every 19th of October, Grenadians mark a somber anniversary: the 1983 execution of the country's former prime minister and revolutionary leader, Maurice Bishop, and others who died alongside him. The people of this Caribbean nation still have no closure more than 40 years later. The remains of Bishop and his supporters were never returned to their family members and are missing to this day. In the first episode of 'The Empty Grave of Comrade Bishop,' The Washington Post's Martine Powers takes us on the personal journey that led her to learn about Grenada's history. Martine delves into why Bishop was such an influential figure, what made the United States nervous about him and why the mystery of his missing remains continues to haunt so many on the island. If you haven't listened to the series yet, we hope you check it out on Apple, Spotify, or wherever you listen to podcasts. If you've already listened, we would be grateful if you shared it and left a review. You can find photos and documents from the investigation in our special episode guide here.
