The film Oh My Dog, as the name suggests, will be a cute story revolving around kids and dogs. We have come to know that the film will be made with a fresh star-cast, and it will be a slice-of-life film. Sources close to the development have confirmed that 90 per cent of the film is already shot. We bet the excitement levels of fans after hearing this news will reach a notch higher. Well, this movie has yet another surprise element planned for all the viewers. There is a possibility that Pankaj Tripathi, who has already worked with Amit Rai in Oh My God 2, will have a cameo in Oh My Dog. Now that is going to make this film even more special, isn't it? The film, co-produced by Salman Khan, Ronnie Screwvala and Aditi Anand, had a cameo by Ranbir Kapoor in a dance number. On the work front, Amit Rai has already started work on Oh My God 3. A source shares, 'Amit Rai had multiple ideas for OMG 3 (Oh My God 3), and he discussed all the plot points with Akshay Kumar throughout the stay. The duo brainstormed on all the ideas and also discussed possible new routes that could be taken in OMG 3. The intent is to continue with the most loved franchise, and take the third part on floors in 2026.' The source further informed that both Akshay and Amit Rai jammed very well over the weekend, and the Khiladi is now waiting for Amit to come up with a draft. Talking about Pankaj Tripathi, his latest release, Criminal Justice 4, is streaming on Jio Hotstar currently. Fans are loving his performance in the show. Govt approves 14 films under new policy
Patna: Under the state govt's new film policy, permission has been granted for the shooting of 14 films in regional, Hindi and English languages across the state. According to an official press release from the department of art, culture and youth on Tuesday, some of these films have already completed shooting while others are currently in production. Permanent infrastructure to support film production is also being developed. The state's first dedicated film set is under construction in Valmiki Nagar where the Hindi film 'Tiya' by Sagar Srivastava is being shot. A new facility, Haider Kazmi Studio, has also been established in Pali, Jehanabad, and is currently hosting the production of several films. Film shoots are under way in various districts including Nalanda, Nawada, Gaya, Patna, Bagaha, Rohtas, Vaishali, Sitamarhi, Darbhanga and Jehanabad. A senior official from the department said, "The is not just limited to shooting, it is also taking steps in the field of film education and training. A scholarship scheme has been launched for the state's students studying at the Pune Film Institute, Satyajit Ray Film Institute, and the National School of Drama. So far, one student, Ashish Kumar, has been awarded a scholarship and the processing of several other applications is under way." The policy offers a grant of up to ₹4 crore for films that shoot more than 75% of their content in Bihar, a provision that has attracted numerous filmmakers.
