Fans have been waiting four years for the boxer, YouTuber and musician's follow-up to 2021's 'All Over the Place' - and they still have a way to go yet. Speaking to the Official Charts Company, KSI - whose real name is Olajide Olayinka Williams Olatunji - said of the LP's release: "It definitely won't be this year, but probably next year for sure. I mean, there's a lot of constant deliberation that goes into an album – like, perfecting [it] to make sure it's exactly what I want it to be. You know, I have songs [in the bag], but I think for me, right now, I'm still making music to make sure it's the best that it can be." Last week, KSI returned with the bold new single, 'Catch Me If You Can'. Speaking of the track, the 'Britain's Got Talent' judge said: "This track is all about levelling up, proving yourself, and staying ahead of the game. 'Catch Me If You Can' is my way of showing that I'm always pushing forward, whether it's in music, boxing, or life. No matter what obstacles come my way, I keep moving." KSI opens up about secret 8-year relationship and plans to marry non-celebrity girlfriend
YouTube sensation and Britain's Got Talent judge KSI, whose real name is Olajide Olayinka Williams Olatunji, has broken his silence about his secret eight-year relationship. For the first time, he revealed details about his girlfriend, who has remained out of the public eye until now. During an interview on the Now You Know YouTube series, KSI opened up about his long-term partner, who he plans to marry. He disclosed that they have been together since 2017, and despite their ups and downs, their bond remains strong. 'She grounds me. She definitely tells me sometimes if I'm doing too much; If I need to relax and I need to chill. But it's good. I can talk to her about anything. And like, we've had our ups and downs, as all relationships do,' KSI shared. He also revealed that his girlfriend is 'not part of the industry' and works a regular '9-5 job.' KSI expressed admiration for her grounded approach, saying, 'She wants to just do her job, nine to five, and just help people. And I just think that's sic. It's not part of the industry that I'm in so we can come back together after we both finish work, and then we can just talk about our lives and chill, and it's just nice." While their relationship has been mostly private, KSI admitted they once went through a breakup. "You know, when me and my girlfriend broke up, I was like, 'I just want to be me. I want to do whatever.' But then it got to point where I was like, 'Oh, why did this relationship break down?'' KSI continued, 'She was so good to me and everything was like, I just… I just messed it up and so I was like, I need to work on myself. And so that's when I went to see a therapist… to really just zoom in on me and, like, to understand what I want, what makes me happy, what I desire, etc.' After self-reflection, he knew what he wanted: 'I need her in my life. So, you know, I essentially begged her to be with me And, you know, I took a while, but eventually, you know, we got back together. And it's literally just been amazing. But it's a rollercoaster.' On the subject of marriage, KSI revealed he's thought about it but acknowledged it was a foreign concept to him. 'I've never actually seen like, like my parents do it or anything like that so it's quite foreign to me,' he explained. However, he's open to the idea in the future. As for children, KSI mentioned that they are not in a rush. 'Kids too are on the horizon but not anytime soon. I feel like we still need to just enjoy each other's company.' KSI's heartfelt comments come after a playful prank on Britain's Got Talent, where his brother, disguised as a masked performer, shocked him by confronting him with secrets from his past. KSI, caught off guard, humorously hit the red buzzer and told his brother to 'get out,' while the other judges applauded the entertaining surprise.
