Durban International Marathon takes place in the city on May 4
THE 5th edition of the Durban International Marathon will take place in the city on April 4.
Since inception, the event has attracted elite athletes from around the globe, including past champions like Isaac Mpofu, Tebello Ramakongoana, Sian Oldknow, and Elroy Galant.
Both Oldknow and Galant had outstanding performances last year, winning the race and subsequently represented South Africa at the 2024 Paris year the marathon will include the prestigious 2025 CAA-Southern Regional Marathon Championships.
The event, presented by Newlands Athletics Club, promises to deliver another chapter of racing history, following last year's record-breaking performances by Gelant (2:09:33) and Oldknow (2:29:46).
