Olivia Culpo reveals she is on a diet just 10 days after giving birth to daughter

Olivia Culpo revealed she's on a diet just ten days after welcoming her daughter with Christian McCaffrey. The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model, 33, announced the birth of her daughter - Colette Annalise McCaffrey - on July 13. And on Wednesday, she took to her Instagram Stories to share a video of her mom, Susan Curran, tempting her with two pastries. 'Here goes my diet,' Olivia is heard saying in the clip, after her mom gives her the 'sweet treat.' 'I told her I'm on a diet,' Olivia wrote over the video, adding a skull emoji. The former pageant queen previously joked about her pregnancy weight gain in a video that showed her eating a burrito, which she captioned, 'Watching hot girl summer pass by as I google"can ankles explode?"' In another clip shared to her Stories on Wednesday, Olivia was pictured breastfeeding her little one while her mom played the violin nearby. 'Colette is going to her daily serenades,' she captioned the video. Olivia stayed active through her pregnancy, and in May she gave her fans a glimpse at her growing baby bump during a grueling pregnancy workout in her third trimester. Culpo snapped a quick selfie while at the gym to better show off her baby bump in skintight, black workout attire. In text added towards the bottom of the picture, the media personality penned to her 5.4 million followers: 'working out here looks different these days @petermollofitness.' The star also uploaded a short reel as she worked out her legs on a machine as music played in the background. The day prior on Tuesday, Olivia sent an emotional message to husband Christian as he left their newborn baby for training camp. The San Francisco 49ers star went off to camp on Monday, leaving Olivia at home with their newborn daughter. McCaffrey's wife gushed over him in an adorable post to her Instagram story - showing the new dad giving some love to their daughter. 'Best daddy in the world goes to camp today. Everyone go wish him luck @christianmccaffrey,' Culpo posted. She added, 'We're going to miss him so much' with a crying emoji. Earlier this week Olivia shared a snap of her with her daughter, with both of them bundled up in cozy brown bath robes. 'Mommy-daughter matching, diapers and all,' she captioned the post. Olivia confirmed the exciting news of her daughter's arrival by posting a slideshow of black and white photos from the hospital with their newborn. 'Colette Annalise McCaffrey,' the model captioned her post. In another sweet post, uploaded to her Instagram Story, Culpo gushed 'Colette is so lucky to have the best daddy in the world. A love like no other.' She also described giving birth as 'the scariest and most rewarding of all experiences.' 'As soon as he came into the room I felt most at peace [crying emoji], look at the grip,' the new mom said of McCaffrey, referring to her white-knuckle grip on his arm. In the first image, the couple's newborn could be seen reaching up as she lays on a fuzzy blanket with her head turned to the side. Another photo showed McCaffrey gazing adoringly at his wife as she held their daughter in her arms. Culpo kept her pregnancy hidden for approximately six months. In May a source told that she first 'started telling very close family members she was pregnant around Thanksgiving.' The pair went public with the news in March. She shared a series of stunning black-and-white snaps of herself cradling her bump on social media as she announced to her followers: 'Next chapter, motherhood.' Olivia also shared a video of herself and Christian romantically holding hands and kissing outdoors. The couple, who began dating since 2019, tied the knot last summer in a lavish ceremony in Rhode Island.

Olivia Culpo sends emotional message to Christian McCaffrey as he leaves their newborn baby for training camp

With NFL training camps set to get into full swing in the coming days, players are already off to get ready for a grueling upcoming season. Add San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey to that list. The star rusher went off to camp on Monday, leaving wife Olivia Culpo at home with their newborn daughter. Culpo, a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model, gave birth to a daughter - Colette Annalise McCaffrey - earlier this month. The couple announced the arrival of Colette back on July 13 in a joint Instagram post which included a carousel of black-and-white photos of the family in the hospital. Among those images included one where McCaffrey was seen holding Culpo's hand as she underwent a C-section. The Rhode Island native and former Miss USA and Miss Universe in 2012 has been open about the difficulties of her pregnancy. In a TikTok post from March, Culpo revealed that she had 'pneumonia and I was sick also for two weeks... I've truly been on bed rest for four weeks.' She added, 'Towards the end of two weeks of being really sick, I got a subchorionic hematoma'. A subchorionic hematoma - or a subchorionic hemmorhage - is a condition where there's bleeding between the wall of the uterus and one of the sacs (chorion) which enclose the embryo in the uterus, according to the NIH's National Library of Medicine. 'So at this point, I was so exhausted, like two weeks of just not being able to move and then all of a sudden just purging,' Culpo explained. 'It was a lot. It was heavy… I went to the doctor and it was really exciting to see that there was still a heartbeat.' Thankfully, Colette was born healthy and the couple have been in the early stages of raising her ever since. She was born less than a year after the husband and wife tied the knot in the Watch Hill neighborhood of Westerly, Rhode Island. The ceremony took place at a chapel before a lavish reception at the famous and historic Ocean House hotel.
