Omanoil Bazaar initiative launched to empower entrepreneurs during Khareef Season
Salalah: The mobile "Omanoil Bazaar" exhibition, held in Atin Plain in Salalah, represents a marketing initiative to support and empower entrepreneurs, organised by Oman Oil Marketing Company in collaboration with the Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) Development Department in Dhofar Governorate. The event runs until 31 August. The exhibition features 20 small and medium enterprises showcasing their diverse products and services as part of an initiative aimed at opening new avenues for direct marketing, enhancing their presence in the local market, and enabling them to reach a broader audience of visitors and consumers. This initiative aligns with Oman Oil Marketing Company's commitment to corporate social responsibility and its ongoing efforts to strengthen the role of SMEs in supporting the national economy. By empowering entrepreneurs and expanding their access to wider consumer segments, the exhibition also highlights their innovations as part of the activities accompanying Khareef Dhofar (monsoon) season. Khamis Nasser Al Shu'aibi, Director General of Shared Services at Oman Oil Marketing Company, stated that the Omanoil Bazaar initiative reflects the company's dedication to supporting entrepreneurs and providing them with a platform to reach a larger audience. He emphasised the significance of the mobile exhibition in opening promising opportunities for SMEs to promote their products and services, particularly during Khareef Dhofar season. For his part, Dr. Imad Ahmed Al Rowas, Local Value-Added Specialist at the SMEs Development Department in Dhofar Governorate, explained that organising the exhibition comes as part of activating partnerships between the department and entities supporting entrepreneurship. He noted that the event serves as a free marketing and promotional platform for participating businesses, reaffirming the department's commitment to providing necessary support to SMEs to help them expand and succeed. Regarding entrepreneurs' participation, Nawaf Ahmed Al Bar'ami, owner of the "MajanRoad" app, shared that his project focuses on promoting tourist destinations in Oman, with plans to soon add hotel and restaurant booking services. He highlighted that participating in the exhibition presents an opportunity to connect with his target audience. Meanwhile, Khalil Al-Amiri, owner of "Al-Alamiya for Frankincense Products," expressed his enthusiasm for his first participation in Khareef Dhofar events. He explained that his project specialises in producing skincare products made from Omani frankincense, with clients and distributors in several countries, including Japan, France, and the UK, in addition to collaborations with major hotel establishments within Oman.

OOMCO and I'm Hungry fast-food chain announce collaboration
Muscat, Oman – In a move to elevate customer service and experience while broadening the range of options available to them in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, OOMCO has announced a collaboration agreement with Fresh Food Company Ltd., the owner of the renowned "I'm Hungry" fast-food chain in the Kingdom. This agreement aligns with Oman Vision 2040 and the nation's ambitious goals of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050, contributing to the development of sustainable infrastructure and the transition to renewable energy in the Sultanate of Oman.
