Two arrested for public morals violations in Oman
Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has announced that two individuals, an Omani woman and a Syrian resident, have been arrested. This action was taken following the publication of several video clips by the pair, which authorities assert contravene public morals.
In an official statement, the ROP confirmed that these videos, widely circulated across social media platforms, were considered offensive and in breach of Omani laws concerning public decency. Both individuals are now in custody, and legal proceedings are currently underway.
