NETSCOUT Participates in TM Forum NeuroNOC Catalyst at DTW Ignite 2025

Home » Emerging technologies » Artificial Intelligence » NETSCOUT Advances AI Network Solutions at DTW Ignite 2025 NETSCOUT SYSTEMS, INC. (NASDAQ: NTCT), a provider in observability, AIOps, cybersecurity, and DDoS protection, announced its participation in TM Forum's NeuroNOC Catalyst project at DTW Ignite 2025. The event set records with the highest number of Communication Service Providers and countries represented. The NeuroNOC Catalyst project, a collaboration with Amazon Web Services, Accenture, Symphonica, and Sand Technologies, was supported by major carriers including BT Group, Telecom Argentina, Omantel, Turknet, Axian Telecom, and Safaricom. It explored how AI agents, closed-loop automation, and high-quality network data can enable self-healing operations in telecom networks. NETSCOUT deployed its Omnis AI Insights Solution, featuring Omnis AI Sensor and Omnis AI Streamer, to provide 5G Standalone Radio Access Network (SA RAN) and Packet Core telemetry. This solution uses deep packet inspection (DPI) for end-to-end network visibility and delivers analytics via an open API dataset. In simulated scenarios, the solution helped network operations center engineers quickly identify subscriber registration issues, find root causes with a curated large language model (LLM), and execute remediation with minimal manual effort. The project demonstrated: Up to 80% reduction in manual troubleshooting Up to 50% lower operational costs for communication providers Significant data and tokenization savings using AI models like AWS Bedrock Richard Fulwiler, Senior Director of Product Management at NETSCOUT and NeuroNOC participant, highlighted the importance of accurate, real-time curated data. He noted that quality packet collection is essential to correlate issues, verify fixes, and enable intelligent network operations. He added that while fully autonomous networks are in early development, the project shows strong potential for AI to improve network issue resolution. This initiative marks a significant step forward in AI-powered telecom operations and NETSCOUT's role in advancing network automation.
