A fresh six-part television drama is set to arrive on ITV 1, featuring Doctor Who favourite Jodie Whittaker alongside Netflix sensation Yael Stone.
One Night, which first debuted in 2023, is an Australian drama chronicling three mates whose existences have been transformed by a devastating incident.
Penned and developed by Emily Ballou, the series was produced by Easy Tiger Productions and Motive Pictures for Paramount+. Production took place across Sydney and the Illawara region of New South Wales during 2023.

What is One Night about?
One Night centres on the tale of three women, Tess, Simone and Hat, whose friendship was almost shattered by the harrowing incidents of a single evening two decades past.
The synopsis goes on: "Since then, Simone has harboured secret hopes of becoming a novelist but most of her haphazard attempts have been shoved into her bottom drawer. Now, at the age of 40, she has finally written the one story she could never get out of her mind, and her debut manuscript has become an unexpected overnight success.
"But it soon becomes apparent that the devastating story the book tells doesn't exclusively belong to her. At the heart of Simone's novel is a tragedy which also happened to Tess and Hat, her two childhood best friends.
"As it becomes harder to prise fact from fiction, one person's memory and story from another's, the book threatens to derail all their friendships, bringing old traumas to the surface of the small coastal community where they grew up, and stirring its perpetrators, who want to make it all go away."
One Night cast
The ensemble cast of One Night is headed by Jodie Whittaker, who takes on the central role of Tess. She's supported by Nicole da Silva as Simone, whilst Yael Stone brings Hat to life.
Rising stars Mikaela Binns-Rorke, Bridgette Armstrong and Bella Ridgway tackle the younger incarnations of Tess, Simone and Hat respectively, reports the Mirror.
Meanwhile, George Mason steps into Joey's shoes, with David Howell portraying the character's younger self, Erroll Shand embodies Trevor alongside Shane Osborne as his youthful counterpart, and Damien Strouthos assumes the mantle of Mark, with Alan Dalziel depicting the character's earlier years.
Kat Stewart brings Tess to the screen whilst Tina Bursill takes on Helen, William Zappa portrays Don, Noni Hazlehurst embodies Mary and Jillian Nguyen steps into Eden's role.
Rounding out the supporting cast are Harper Simon, Jude Hyland, Fiona Press, Wadih Dona, Les Hill, Anthony Brandon Wong and Zac Burgess.
How to watch One Night
One Night initially debuted Down Under on Paramount+ back in September 2023. The series subsequently arrived on Paramount+ across the UK and Ireland later that same year, though it was pulled from the platform by February 2024.
Australian viewers can now catch the series streaming on Netflix. One Night is set to premiere on ITV and ITVX on Saturday, 17 August.
The series, comprising six one-hour episodes, will be broadcast weekly on ITV1. Additionally, the series will be accessible for viewing on ITVX.
