OnePlus Watch 3 launches in the UK with a £50 discount – here's our review
Originally set to launch in February, the OnePlus Watch 3 was delayed because of an unfortunate 'Meda in China' typo on the backplate. The two-month wait turns out to have been worth it for UK customers. Not only has OnePlus nailed the spelling this time around, but the OnePlus Watch 3 launches with a £50 discount at the official OnePlus store. You also get a free pair of OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro as a thank-you for being so patient. Those in the US haven't been so fortunate. The OnePlus Watch 3 has had a staggering price hike in America, going from $330 to $500. The Chinese brand hasn't given an official reason for the increase, though it's almost certainly related to the Trump administration's spiralling tariffs on goods made (or is that meda?) in China. Setting aside the escalating trade war, the new OnePlus Watch 3 is a brilliant Android smartwatch. It offers a whopping five-day battery life, a refined titanium-ringed design, improved GPS and enhanced health features that make it a strong contender in an Android smartwatch arena dominated by Samsung and Pixel. Building on the best aspects of the excellent OnePlus Watch 2, the new smartwatch boasts some impressive specs, particularly its battery life. This isn't just a marginal upgrade either – the OnePlus Watch 3 doubles down on what made the previous version so great, offering improvements where you'll notice. OnePlus faces stiff competition in the form of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 and Pixel Watch 3, which are slightly more expensive and count among the best Android smartwatches in 2025. Wisely enough, OnePlus doesn't even attempt to square off with the Apple Watch on its own turf – the OnePlus Watch 3 isn't compatible with iOS devices at launch. How I tested I've been wearing the OnePlus Watch 3 since it was first announced back in January. During that time, I've tested it during my regular morning run, while working out at home, and when in the office. I've also used it to track my sleep. The OnePlus Watch 3 release date is finally here, with pre-orders shipping from April 15
When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. The OnePlus Watch 3 is finally launching this month It was delayed two months because of a typo on the back that said 'Meda in China' Earliest pre-orders are now expected to ship April 15 After a two-month delay to its launch owing to a rather embarrassing typo on the back of the device, the OnePlus Watch 3 finally looks set to launch in the coming days, according to the company's website. As we reported a few weeks ago, the OnePlus Watch 3 looks set to be one of the best Android smartwatches of 2025, thanks to its impressive battery life. However, its original February release date had to be scrapped because the earliest models said 'Meda in China' rather than 'Made in China' on the back. As we mentioned at the time, there is some good news: customers will get a small discount and possibly even a free set of earbuds, depending on location. Now, OnePlus' website indicates that the earliest pre-orders will start arriving on April 15. OnePlus in the US appears to have the earliest times, with priority orders arriving on April 15 and standard delivery coming on April 17. In the UK, those dates are April 16 and April 22, respectively. Sadly, there's still no update on a release window for Australia, although the device is listed on the website. EU orders have estimated delivery times of April 23 and 28 for the aforementioned priority and standard options, too. Just shy of two months is a long time to wait for a smartwatch that gets updated annually, but as per our review, the OnePlus Watch 3 is definitely worth the wait. It's not perfect – the size is rather large, and there are some sleep tracking quirks – but it has the best Wear OS battery life on the market, all of Google's third-party apps, and some great new features. OnePlus has also confirmed that there will be a smaller version and LTE support for territories other than China coming later this year, and some OnePlus pages (Germany for example) already have size and connectivity option fields in anticipation of the new models. If you want to wait, it looks like you'll be able to buy a OnePlus Watch 3 from April 15. However, I'd strongly recommend pre-ordering one if you're interested in getting your hands on that discount and some freebies, too. Most customers can expect at least 10% off, a new strap, and possibly even a pair of OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro. OnePlus Watch 3 vs Pixel Watch 3: Time for a new Wear OS king? OnePlus Watch 3 could get another size and a cellular version this year Good news for OnePlus fans as it confirms the OnePlus Watch 3 will get three years of updates, not two

OnePlus Watch 3 Smart Watch Prices Cut Now, With Free Gift Offers
The latest smartwatch from OnePlus, the OnePlus Watch 3, has just gone on sale — release date Thursday, April 10. It's on offer until April 30, or while stocks last. The offers are for U.K. sales, exclusive to OnePlus Watch 3 in two colors. The deals highlighted in this post were independently selected by the Contributor and do not contain affiliate links. The new Watch has numerous advantages over the OnePlus Watch 2 — and is worlds away from the company's first smartwatch. For a start, it now has a titanium alloy bezel that it's claimed makes it tougher while keeping it light. Battery life now stretches to 120 hours, that's five days, in Smart mode. It comes in two colors, emerald titanium, which is green, obviously, and obsidian titanium, which is black. Other improvements include a 60-second health check-in which, in the U.K. includes ECG monitoring. There's also dual-frequency GPS, which adds accuracy if you're running, for instance, and an upgrade to the hardware: a new rotating crown which interacts with menus onscreen. Right now, exclusive to OnePlus, there's an instant discount of £50 ($65) for early customers buying before April 30 (unless stocks have run out by the time you buy). That takes the price down from £319 ($412) to £269 ($336) There are more offers, too. As well as the discount, you can choose a free gift. There are three to choose between: OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro wireless earbuds (normally £79.99, or $103), a OnePlus Watch Charging Base which usually costs £29.99 ($39) or a OnePlus Watch Strap worth £34.99 ($58). Obviously, the Watch comes with a charging base and strap, but you might like a second one. You can save another £30 ($39) if you trade in your old device. Even that's not quite the end of it: there are discounts if you also buy another item with the Watch 3. That's 20% off a OnePlus Pad 2 or OnePlus Buds Pro 3, 50% off a OnePlus Watch 2, or 30% off a OnePlus Watch Strap or OnePlus Watch charging base. Finally, students save an extra 10%. Altogether, these are neat ways to save on the new watch.
