Only Murders in the Building 5: The crime solving trio returns for a new case
The fifth season of 'Only Murders In The Building' is all set to introduce a new crime case set in New York. The upcoming show will revolve around a mysterious death which unravels a web of shocking Emmy-winning original comedy series, featuring actors Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez is back with an intriguing premise. After their beloved doorman, Lester, dies under suspicious circumstances, Charles, Oliver, and Mabel refuse to believe it was an investigation plunges them into the shadowy corners of New York and beyond — where the trio uncovers a dangerous web of secrets connecting powerful billionaires, old-school mobsters, and the mysterious residents of the Arconia. They discover a deeper divide between the storied city they thought they knew and the new New York evolving around them — one where the old mob fights to hold on as newer, even more dangerous players emerge.

Season five also features Michael Cyril Creighton, and special guest stars Meryl Streep, Da'Vine Joy Randolph, Richard Kind, Nathan Lane, Bobby Cannavale and Rene Zellweger. Martin and Hoffman executive produce along with Martin Short, Selena Gomez, 'This Is Us' creator Dan Fogelman, Jess Rosenthal, Ben Smith and JJ Philbin. The series is produced by 20th Television, a part of Disney Television first season of the show premiered in 2021. It was followed by three more last season of the whodunnit series was released in August fifth season of 'Only Murders In The Building' is scheduled to release on September 9.
