Jack P Shepherd hits the town with Corrie co-stars before wedding despite stag do snub
Jack P Shepherd was seen hitting the streets of Manchester with his Coronation Street co-stars last night less than 24 hours before he's due to tie the knot with Hanni Treweek Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd was spotted out with his ITV co-stars last night, less than 24 hours before his big day. The David Platt actor, 37, is gearing up to wed his wife-to-be Hanni, 36, in Manchester this afternoon, just over one year after the Celebrity Big Brother winner popped the question while on safari in Tanzania, Africa. The duo are set to have a 'no expenses spared wedding,' but there was one tradition he was adamant to ditch; the stag do. It seemed like his co-stars Colson Smith and Nick Tilsley actor Ben Price managed to change his mind as the trio were snapped out on the town last night. In the pictures, Jack can be seen beaming walking down the streets of Manchester with his co-stars Ben Price and Colson Smith. The trio looked in high spirits as the hit the streets of Manchester before the big day, with Jack looking smart in a white shirt and black trousers. Colson opted for a more casual look as he wore a hoody and trainers, while Ben wore a chunky blue cardigan over a shirt. The three appeared to share a joke during their journey through Manchester, as they could be seen chuckling to one another - perhaps about the fact Jack was adamant he didn't want a stag do... In January this year, Jack revealed he doesn't want a stag do. He previously admitted: "No, I don't like the idea of going on a stag do where someone just takes the p*** out of you all weekend and you're the butt of every joke and you have to dress up like a f***ing baby." However, axed Coronation Street co-star Colson Smith, who played Craig Tinker on the soap, later had an awkward admission for the star on their On the Sofa podcast. "There is something that I need to broach with you on this subject and I don't quite know when the right time to do this is," Colson began. "Now is the right time, but you're very very against it. But I just need to tell you that it's happening, that there is a small group of us, which is only four people and then including yourself, that's five, but we have to tell you now that you are having a stag do." Colson then went on to reassure Jack it would be a low-key affair after Jack reluctantly suggested that they could "go for a bit of food and then go out".

Hanni's dazzling ring is in full view as it consists of a single oval stone on a thin gold band. In the caption of the post, Hanni shared their exciting news. ITV Coronation Street star 'called out' by former co-star over 's****y' move
Colson Smith, Jack P Shepherd and Ben Price have a successful podcast together and during a recent episode, Colson decided to 'call out' Ben over his behaviour Former Coronation Street actor Colson Smith has cheekily "called out" a former co-star for their antics. The 26-year-old, who recently departed from the iconic ITV soap after being informed his character would face a grim end, portrayed the much-loved PC Craig Tinker for over a decade. Tragically, in May, fans were left shocked as they witnessed PC Craig Tinker fall victim to a savage baseball bat assault during a botched arrest. When he's not on screen, Colson hosts the On the Sofa podcast alongside fellow Corrie veterans Jack P Shepherd and Ben Price. Jack has been gracing the cobbles for more than 25 years as David Platt, while Ben stepped into Nick Tilsley's shoes back in 2009. In a recent instalment of their podcast, Colson humorously decided it was time to "call-out" Ben for his dubious handling of their shared Wagamama's loyalty card. With a hint of jest, Colson said: "I want to kick us off, to call out some bad friendship because one of us has been shady." He added with a laugh: "Now I feel like it's two-against-one here and I'm going to say the words soul club. It's s****y" Colson explained the trio regularly head to the restaurant chain and "collect the stamps" to get a free starter or main course "every now and then". Ben says the stamps "build up quite quick" when the three of them go out together. And the last time they went out together, they discovered he had enough stamps for a free main course. Colson said: "On the last time we went for a meal, me and Jack also redeemed saving you probably £18, but we thought, 'That's fine because next time we go, Ben's got a free main, that saves us, I don't know, £4 each'." Ben however went to Wagamama without his co-stars, taking his daughter to the Media City branch in Salford before a live podcast show. He says the family stopped in Salford instead of Bath, where they live, ahead of the show. Colson called the move "full s**t-house" joking Ben was "eating their money". Jack added: "You've only got those stamps because it's a joint effort." Ben recounted how he was offered a 10 per cent ITV worker discount at the restaurant but opted for a more economical choice, jokingly stating: "I said, 'I think I've got a free main which will work out better for me." He continued with a laugh: "It was a thousands pounds [for] a meal for two, I redeemed the thing and it came down to £15. I think you're right to call me out Colson." Jack, Ben, and Colson became friends on the set of Coronation Street and initially started their podcast as the Sofa Cinema Club, rebranding it in 2023. Together, they offer fans a peek into their lives and share behind-the-scenes gossip from their time on Coronation Street.

‘I didn't enjoy it' Axed Corrie star reflects on hit TV show appearance
Coronation Street's Colson Smith has reflected on his appearance on a Big Brother spin-off show, a year on from his time in the Celebrity Big Brother house. The actor, who plays Craig Tinker in the show, featured on Late and Live to discuss last year's series but also his friend and co-star Jack P Shepherd, who has reached the final stage of the competition. Despite enjoying himself, Colson admitted that he would've found the appearance better if he was just there to talk about Jack and their friendship. Speaking on podcast On the Sofa, which is hosted by Colson, Jack and fellow Corrie star Ben Price, Colson pondered: 'It was very weird going back to that show last night, it was very weird. It was just odd wasn't it? Because it would have been almost better if I was just there as Jack's mate rather than being there from having done it last year.' As Ben encouraged Colson to elaborate, the star said: 'I don't want to say I didn't enjoy it', to which Ben responded: 'I think that's fine, Colson. This is what the pod's about. It doesn't have to be…You can say what you feel…'. Colson added: 'I think for me, when I did Big Brother, I enjoyed it more once I was out than when I was in and I think when you go back to it and you're like, 'Oh so it was this this, this and that, that, that'. It just seems different. It wasn't my show, was it?'. The star said that he was happy to feature on Late and Live, as it meant he received an update on how Jack was doing, following Patsy Palmer's eviction. 'For that, I was glad that I went. The rest of it…I did it [the show] and the way I did was absolutely fine for me. I enjoyed Big Brother, I got friends out of it, I had a nice time and I look back and have good memories of it.
