Punjab Assembly passes resolution marking country's victory

LAHORE: The Punjab Assembly on Monday unanimously approved a resolution marking the defeat of Indian aggression and Pakistan's triumph. The resolution, presented by Deputy Speaker Malik Zahir Iqbal Channar, congratulated the nation on the success of Operation Bunyan-al-Marsoos against India. The representative house of the Punjab Assembly extends its congratulations to the entire nation, particularly the Pakistan Armed Forces, for the historic success of Bunyan-al-Marsoos. This remarkable achievement by Pakistan's military crushed the enemy's arrogance and filled the nation with pride. On the night between May 6 and 7, 2025, India launched a cowardly attack on Pakistan under Operation Sandoor, using the false flag operation in Pahlgam on April 22, 2025, as a pretext. The aggression targeted civilian areas in Pakistan and Azad Kashmir, attacking mosques, seminaries, and martyring innocent civilians, including women, children, and the elderly. Additionally, India struck Pakistan's water infrastructure, endangering not only regional but global peace. Following the Pahlgam incident, India unilaterally suspended the Indus Waters Treaty on April 23. This treaty is a bilateral agreement, and its unilateral termination violates international law. The waters of the Indus belong to 250 million Pakistanis, and their rights cannot be revoked. The enemy did not anticipate a response that would leave it humiliated before the international community, forced to lick its wounds in defeat. On the morning of May 10, Pakistan Armed Forces delivered a crushing blow through Bunyan-al-Marsoos, fulfilling their promise to the nation. Pakistan's military and political leadership demonstrated exceptional strategy, and the National Security Committee granted full authority to the armed forces to respond to Indian aggression. The forces not only met but exceeded the nation's expectations, achieving a glorious victory. Pakistan's brave forces not only downed enemy aircraft but also destroyed multiple military bases. HCSTSI pays tributes to Armed Forces

HYDERABAD: President Hyderabad Chamber of Small Traders & Small Industry (HCSTSI), Muhammad Saleem Memon, has paid rich tribute to the Pakistan Armed Forces, especially the courageous and highly professional pilots of the Pakistan Air Force, for their exceptional response during the recent escalation with India. Their swift and precise action not only safeguarded the nation but also earned global recognition for Pakistan's military excellence and aerial supremacy. He reiterated that war has never been Pakistan's first choice. As members of the business community, we have always advocated for peace, regional stability and mutually respectful relations with neighbouring countries, for it is only in such an environment that trade, growth, and prosperity can flourish. However, when aggression is imposed upon us, Pakistan reserves every right to respond decisively. Referring to the recent conflict, he noted that India used the April 22nd incident in Occupied Kashmir as a pretext to launch 'Operation Sandoor' on May 7th, targeting various regions within Pakistan. But by the grace of Almighty Allah and the iron-willed resolve of the Pakistan Armed Forces, Pakistan launched 'Operation Bunyan al-Marsis' in response neutralizing enemy Rafale jets, drones, and missile systems, and sending a clear message to the world: underestimating Pakistan is a grave miscalculation. HCSTSI President also extended his appreciation to Prime Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, and the military leadership for their resolute and visionary strategy, which compelled India to seek a ceasefire through global intermediaries. The leadership's message was clear: Pakistan stands for peace, but with dignity and honour. He emphasized that the recent developments have highlighted the importance of not only a robust defense but also a stable economy and technological advancement for national resilience. 'This is the time for national renewal and commitment. Just as we stood united with our armed forces, we must now unite for the progress, self-reliance, and economic development of our beloved nation, setting aside all political and social differences,' he said. President paid heartfelt tribute to Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan, the father of Pakistan's nuclear program, stating that the country's strategic capability under his leadership remains the strongest pillar of our national defense today. He further added that Pakistan's traders and industrialists have a vested interest in peace and stability, as these are essential for employment, investment, and national revenue. However, whenever the country faces threats, the business community stands firmly behind the Armed Forces like a frontline unit. Copyright Business Recorder, 2025

JI observes Youm-e-Azm across Karachi

KARACHI: On the call of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Chief, Engr Hafiz Naeemur Rehman, Youm-e-Azm (Determination Day) was observed in Karachi and other parts of the country on Friday, with hundreds of demonstrations, walks, and programs held across the city. Large gatherings took place outside mosques, mainly after Friday prayers, while numerous schools and educational institutions also organized activities to mark the occasion. In Karachi, JI Karachi Chief, Monem Zafar led a major protest at Lasbela, where he addressed a large crowd. He urged the nation to remain awake and united in the face of Indian aggression, stressing that political and internal differences were insignificant when national security was at stake. The JI leader said the pride of Indian rulers and Hindutva forces had 'bitten the dust' after the so-called Operation Sandoor, stating that humiliation had become India's fate since Hindutva ideologues took power. He accused Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi of plunging the country into war hysteria and launching attacks under the pretext of a false flag operation. According to Monem Zafar, Pakistani forces retaliated by downing six Indian warplanes, including the much-publicized Rafael jets. He also claimed that several Israeli-made Indian drones were shot down and that bunkers and military installations along the Line of Control were destroyed, resulting in the deaths of over 50 Indian soldiers. He termed the United States, India, and Israel a 'satanic trio,' accusing them of global expansionist agendas, and emphasized the need to curb their influence to ensure global peace. Monem Zafar also spoke extensively about the U.S. sponsored Israeli actions in Gaza, calling it genocide. Copyright Business Recorder, 2025

Why are pilots of Indian Air Force praised all across the world? The secret behind IAF's success is...

Indian Air Force- File image The recent conflicts between India and Pakistan and the air operation conducted by India named 'Operation Sandoor' have proved again to the world how powerful the Indian Airforce is. Media reports have it that India's recent air operation on Pakistan have resulted in massive losses to enemy including killing terrorists in huge numbers. Most importantly, Indian pilots are considered to be among the best pilots in the world for being experienced, skilled and special training. Here are all the details you need to know about the special training of the Indian Armed forces. The Indian Air Force (IAF) is currently operating 36 France made Rafale fighter jets, with around 36 more expected to be introduced in the next few years. In order to ensure operational readiness of the Air Force pilots, the Indian Air Force trains 1.5 to 2 pilots per aircraft, creating a current pool of 50–60 Rafale-trained pilots on a regular basis. Also, readers should note that the initial training for these pilots takes place in France, where they are trained for 5–6 month at the Merignac Air Base in southwestern France. Proving the capabilities of the Indian Air Force yet again, Indian aircrafts like Rafale, Mirage, Sukhoi, Mig and Tejas participated from India's side in Operation Sindoor. During the operation conducted by India, reports suggest that Rafale handled the main responsibility in this, proving the worth of Indian Airforce yet again. Therefore, Indian pilots are known across the world for their discipline and training, which is the real secret behind their success. India's overhauled air defence system under Modi govt The unprecedented face-off at the Line of Control (LoC) and the border areas, after India destroyed nine terrorist camps in Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir (PoK) and Pakistan, saw a barrage of missiles, drones and other munitions being fired from across the border on Thursday night, but India intercepted and shot all of them in the air, as per a report by news agency IANS. It has been reported that not a single missile could land on Indian territory, failing to reach intended targets. The credit for India's overhauled air defence ecosystem goes to the Narendra Modi government, which has kept its thrust on revamping the security apparatus by phasing out the depleting war reserves and inducting a new, world-class arsenal. The Russian S-400 systems and Rafale jets, largely, accounted for India's success in countering Pakistan's multi-pronged attack. (With inputs from agencies)
