However, from shoppers on the Debenhams and Stuhrling websites, the Aeronaut watch has received a wide variety of reviews, with one shopper claiming they will be back to buy more of the timepieces crafted by Stuhrling.
One happy watch-lover wrote: "What a piece of kit, top quality. It's even better than I thought, absolutely brilliant. l will treasure this, thank you so very much."
While another five-star reviewer added: "I've used many watches in my life and this is my all time favourite. I wear it for the military and it's held up fantastic. Months in the field, water, mud, sand, you name it and this watch has been in it.
"I replaced the pins with 24mm pins and threw a Nato strap on it and I never looked back. I have a luminox and wore it but it's not as reliable or as nice as this watch. I've had it for about 4 years and haven't replaced the battery yet."
However, one person wasn't pleased with the quality of the watch, writing: "Good but not great. It looks a lot better in pictures than in person. I'm sure some other of the more expensive models may be made in a higher quality. Overall it's just good. What's the old saying, 'you get what you pay for'."
While another person struggled with the band: "Great watch my only complaint is I have big wrists and it barely fits on the second to last hole. Hoping the leather band will stretch out over time. Great watch for the price."
