Rescue team says 'thank you' after successful Easter Monday duck race
A mountain rescue team has said a 'huge thank you' to everyone who was involved with its annual duck race.
Patterdale Mountain Rescue Team's (MRT) annual duck race took place on Monday, April 21, and saw hundreds of yellow rubber ducks race from Glenridding Bridge.
The annual event helps raise money for Patterdale MRT as participants pay £2 to have a duck entered in the race.

Writing on social media, Patterdale MRT said: "Huge thank you to everyone that got involved, buying tickets, coming down to cheer the ducks on, to supporting the team by selling tickets Catstycam - Outdoor Clothing & Equipment, or letting the team sell tickets on their ground Aira Force National Trust.

"Your support allows the team to raise funds so they can continue all they do, and the team loved meeting you all.
"Congratulations to all those with winning ducks."
