Squash tournament ends in thrilling finale at Otley

THE annual Otley Squash Club Handicap Tournament took place over the weekend and Tom Stephenson claimed victory after a tense final showdown.
After a very close five-set encounter with last year's winner Oli Pearson, it would be Stephenson who edged the win.
Both players had come through very competitive semi-finals earlier in the evening against Jai Bryant and Sam Yeates respectively, bringing the competition, which included nearly 60 club members, to an end.
Stephenson commented: "I am proud to win this trophy and enjoyed meeting players of different standards in a format that made every game competitive and good fun."
Otley Squash and Racketball Club is adjacent to Otley Rugby Club and Otley Cricket Club and welcomes players of all ages and abilities.
