Our Yorkshire Farm's Amanda Owen has confirmed some major career news
Amanda Owen, the shepherdess star of Our Yorkshire Farm, has announced she's set to embark on a new adventure away from Ravenseat as she gears up for an exciting theatre tour.
The mother of nine took to Instagram to break the news to her legion of fans. In a post accompanied by a video, Amanda wrote, "Here are some exciting things afoot. Here goes... in no particular order.
"Firstly, it's the school holidays!!! Secondly, Our Farm Next Door Series 2 is being shown on Channel 4 on Saturdays at 6.30 pm. Thirdly is that I'm going to be out and about and on theatre tour."
She added: "You can buy tickets for the theatre tour via the No Third Entertainments website or the link in my bio. There's a bit of time and work to put in before then, but I do so look forward to a look out. We have a lot to talk about."
"Hello. I'm absolutely up to my eyes in these things," Amanda said at the start of the video, showing off a sheep, reports the Express.
"Yes, it's clipping time, and it's hay time, and you've got to do all those things while the sun is shining.
"But I'm here to tell you, actually, about something that's going on in the winter when all these jobs are done."
With palpable excitement, Amanda revealed: "I'm heading out on the open road again. Yes, it's theater tour time, and I'm coming to Lancaster, Lincoln, Chesterfield, Scarborough, Scunthorpe, and Middlesbrough.
"And if you want to join me for the evening, then you will find that there is a link in my bio as to how to get tickets to come for a night of fun and frolics, farming, feuding, and friendships."
She continued: "An evening that puts a smile on your face, answer some questions, probably go away with more than you came with, but just a really lovely evening. So I'm looking forward to it."
Fans were quick to express their excitement in the comments section, with one saying: " Fabulous news.. theatre tour! Can't wait."
A third chimed in: "Wonderful news, Amanda, love. Our Farm Next Door will be watching.
