Renaissance Berkane dominate CS Constantine 4-0 in Confederation Cup semi

CAPE TOWN, April 20 (Reuters) - Morocco's Renaissance Berkane look headed to a yet another appearance in the African Confederation Cup final after a resounding 4-0 win over CS Constantine from Algeria in Sunday's first leg of their semi-final tie. Berkane, who won a first Moroccan championship last month, have reached four Confederation Cup finals in the past six years, winning twice, and will be heavily fancied to advance again after a double from Oussama Lamlaoui followed first half goals from Youssef Mehri and Paul Bassene and saw them to a comfortable home win. Earlier on Sunday, Tanzania's Simba edged Stellenbosch from South Africa 1-0 in Zanzibar in the first of their semi-final. Jean Ahoua's free kick evaded all in the box to slip through for the only goal on the stroke of halftime. The return legs of both ties will be played next Sunday with the two-legged final to be played next month.
