Kylie Jenner Wears Full-Length Coat to 'SNL' After-Party With Timothée Chalamet
Timothée Chalamet hosted Saturday Night Live on January 25, where he also served as the night's musical guest, singing hits from Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown. Chalamet sang Dylan's 'Outlaw Blues,' 'Three Angels,' and 'Tomorrow Is a Long Time.' The actor's girlfriend, Kylie Jenner, did not seem to make an appearance in the audience during the comedy sketch show taping, but on Sunday, Instagram gossip account Deux Moi shared pictures of Jenner and Chalamet leaving the show's after-party at The Pool restaurant. Chalamet was wearing a New York Yankees bomber jacket, jeans, and a baseball hat, with a scarf around his neck. Jenner wore a floor-length faux fur coat in sable brown and a pair of black sunglasses. Her hair was down in sultry waves and she lowered her gaze as they headed to a waiting car. The Kardashians star has accompanied Chalamet to Saturday Night Live before, joining him when he hosted for the second time in 2023. Jenner has been seen at even more events this year with Chalamet, attending the 2025 Golden Globes with him, though she did not walk the red carpet. A source told Page Six at the time that she 'didn't want to make [the event] about them.' 'She wanted this night to be all about Timothée, how it was intended to be,' they added. Adrien Brody won for his role in The Brutalist that night, but Chalamet reportedly 'felt a sense of comfort having Kylie there with him.' In Jenner's November 2024 ELLE cover story, released on October 23, Jenner spoke about keeping her relationship private. 'I think it's important to keep things to yourself,' she said. 'It's hard for me to make a decision by myself sometimes, so the opinion of the whole world…it can be tough.' ‘Saturday Night Live' Highlights: Timothée Chalamet's Oscar Campaign Goes into Overdrive
While we may not have been treated to a rousing rap from Lil Timmy Tim, two-time Academy Award nominee Timothée Chalamet did get to highlight his passion for Bob Dylan even further in a 'Saturday Night Live' episode that saw him pulling double duty as host and musical guest. In between sketches at the midpoint and back half of the show, Chalamet was backed up by singer/songwriter and record producer James Blake as he sang renditions of Dylan deep cuts 'Outlaw Blues,' 'Three Angels,' and 'Tomorrow Is a Long Time.' Before he picked up his guitar and put on his smoldering gaze however, the show started with a cold open that featured everyone's favorite (kind of) musical theater impresario, Lin-Manuel Miranda. Poking fun at the kind of resistance liberal Miranda's 'Hamilton' endorses, a sketch that starts as a rousing recreation of the signing of the Declaration of Independence soon turns into a forum for Donald Trump (James Austin Johnson) to spout nonsense and show off. Four more years of Trump in office may be a hard pill to swallow, but at least Johnson's impersonation will keep us entertained during that time…if he continues to be allowed to of course… More from IndieWire For Cooper Raiff to Build a Market for Indie TV, He Needed to Make 'Hal & Harper' 'Undeniable' 'The Night Agent' Season 2 Finale: No Good Deed Goes Unpunished Fully embracing the fact that this episode of 'SNL 50' was essentially the kick-off to the final leg of his Oscar campaign, Chalamet used his monologue to celebrate the eight nominations received by his Dylan biopic 'A Complete Unknown,' including in the categories of Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, and Best Supporting Actress. In doing so, he also took some time to poke fun at the fact that he hasn't managed to really win any awards yet despite being nominated many times by various voting bodies, even offering to perform an acceptance speech that the crowd ultimately doesn't end up hearing. Based on current prognostications, Chalamet's main competition at the Oscars is Adrien Brody for his performance in 'The Brutalist,' but after it was revealed last week that post-production used AI to adjust Brody's accent for one scene in the film, his chances were put in some jeopardy (as pointless and silly as the backlash about this has been). Considering this, it was hard not to view the AI sketch from Chalamet's 'SNL 50' set as a subtle dig at his competitor. But even outside of that conflict, with this sketch 'SNL' became one of the few platforms to actually push against the tech-industrial-complex and skewer AI for the stupid fad that it is. The last sketch of the night has become a holding spot for some of 'SNL's' most out-there or flat out dirty material (see Charli XCX's Shrek sketch) and with Chalamet in the driver's seat, they certainly didn't disappoint. Co-written by Sarah Sherman and centered by her hilarious performance, 'Grandma's Birthday' starts as a wholesome gathering of family and friends, but quickly turns into an outrageous display of modern medical science. Chalamet's, as well as everyone else's ability to keep their cool as they're exposed to a new form of CPR may feature some of the funniest reaction shots of any sketch in recent memory and dialogue that will either make you sick or cackle in disgust. Timothée Chalamet Hosts 'SNL 'and Gets Support from Adam Sandler — Who Continues Joke About the Young Star's Name
Live from Studio 8H, it's Timothée Chalamet — with a special guest appearance from Adam Sandler! The actor, 29, pulled double duty on Saturday Night Live on Jan. 25, acting as both host and musical guest. Ahead of his first musical performance, Sandler, 58, made a surprise cameo to introduce Chalamet. The actor-comedian pronounced the young star's name in a comedic, Sandler-fied way, a continuation of a joke made at the 2025 Golden Globe Awards on Jan. 5. During her opening monologue at the awards show, host Nikki Glaser teased Chalamet and said, 'Your name sounds like something Adam Sandler would say," before the Happy Gilmore star replied from the audience with his own spin on the pronunciation. Sandler matched that same energy during his latest SNL appearance as Chalamet channeled Bob Dylan, whom he portrays in his latest film, A Complete Unknown, by performing a medley of "Outlaw Blues" and "Three Angels." SNL fans praise ‘genius' cameo during Timothée Chalamet performance
Saturday Night Live fans were stunned to see Adam Sandler make a surprise appearance on Saturday's episode (25 January), returning to his roots on the show. Sandler, 58, was a cast member on SNL between 1990 and 1995 and has made numerous cameos since then. His most recent return saw him introduce a musical performance by host Timothée Chalamet, who sang the Bob Dylan songs Outlaw Blues and Three Angels, fresh off his Oscar nomination for the Dylan biopic, A Complete Unknown. Sandler's brief appearance also played off a gag from this year's Golden Globes, when host Nikki Glaser asked him to deliver an exaggerated pronunciation of Chalamet. Repeating the joke on SNL, Sandler bellowed: 'Ladies and gentlemen, I love him too, Timothée Chalameeeet!' Viewers were quick to sing the praises of the cameo, with one writing: 'Getting Sandler to announce Timmy so he could say 'Chalamet' is genius.' 'Playing the long game on the Golden Globes joke,' noted a second fan. 'I just saw Adam Sandler introducing Timmy on SNL. I thought I was hallucinating. The universe is healing,' added a third. A fourth said: 'OH MY WOW! They actually brought Adam Sandler out to give us another! 'Ahhhh Timothée Chalamet !' 'Sandler must've had a police escort to get from the Garden to NBC so fast! Just so he could intro Chalamet,' joked a fifth viewer, referencing the fact that the Uncut Gems actor is a big basketball fan. Chalamet, who made history with his Oscar nomination, becoming the first man since James Dean to secure two Oscar nods for Best Actor before turning 30, was also praised for his performance. 'I love Timmy. He really puts his best in everything,' said one fan. 'The second song was so emotional. Anyone else out there shed a tear?' asked another. A third added: 'Need to go to a Timothée Bob Chalamet concert ASAP.' Eagle-eyed viewers also spotted British singer-songwriter James Blake playing the keyboard in Chalamet's band. 'I love that James Blake is part of this! That guy is such an immense talent,' wrote a fan. A second said: 'OK Timothée, I see you singing Bob Dylan with freaking James Blake playing piano and doing backing vocals.'
