Overcoming Adversity award: Belfast actor refuses to let MND stop him living a full life
If ever there was a deserved winner of the Overcoming Adversity award at the Spirit of Northern Ireland Awards, it is Michael Patrick. The actor chose to meet his motor neurone disease (MND) diagnosis head-on, deciding he would turn a negative into a positive.
