Honeymooning in land of smiles – Inside Phuket hotel with fun activities, night market & beach on doorstep

YOUR honeymoon is a trip you will talk about the rest of your life, and for me, starting it in Thailand really made it memorable. Myself and my new husband Robbie celebrated the start of our new life together in the 'Land of Smiles.' The first thing I noticed was how the hotel's bright and sleek design radiates a fun atmosphere. We were led to our new home for the next few days- a one bedroom suite, that had so much room and was so It had a super soft bed, blackout curtains, and soundproofing. One of my favourite things about the hotel was our view from the balcony - overlooking the three If you are going there with a family in tow, little ones will love the waterslide and play area. After a busy summer, we were happy to soak up the sun on the comfy day beds. Across the road from the hotel was a busy market selling exotic foods, clothing and gifts, and I loved wandering through it to see what was on sale. Advertisement There was plenty to explore nearby including Karon Viewpoint, Dino Park Mini Golf, Super Surf Kata, Karon Beach and Kata Beach Community Park. Like I imagine many Irish before me, I was over the moon to finally try a Green Thai Curry in Dinner at Italian restaurant Prego was also a date to remember. Prego Chef Marco Boscaini happened to be staying in the hotel at the same time, so that was an added bonus. A highlight of our stay was doing a Thai cooking class where we discovered our new found favourite dessert-Bua loi.
