BSNL launches I-Day offer to mobile phone users
The BSNL announced the launch of a special prepaid mobile connection at ₹1 as a part of Independence Day celebrations under the banner of 'BSNL Freedom Offer ', aimed at providing affordable telecom services to the user public, said its General Manager P. Loganathan here on Saturday.
This limited-period offer includes unlimited voice calls, 2GB high-speed data per day, 100 SMS per day and free 4G SIM card among others for just ₹1, making it one of the most affordable and value-driven telecom offers in the country. The offer is valid till August 31 and available through BSNL customer service centre and retailers.
The freedom offer, Mr Loganathan said, aims to extend the benefits of digital connectivity to more people, especially students. Citizens are encouraged to make use of this opportunity and experience seamless, high-speed connectivity with BSNL.
This initiative marks BSNL's celebration of India's Independence Day and offers citizens a chance to experience India's own indigenously developed 4G technology at no cost.
BSNL 'Freedom Plan' gives every Indian a chance to test and experience this indigenous network for 30 days—free of cost—and is confident that customers would see the difference.
The BSNL is rolling out 1 lakh 4G sites across the country using Make-in-India technology and this initiative is a major milestone towards empowering digital India with secure, high-quality and affordable mobile connectivity. Citizens can avail themselves of the freedom plan by visiting the nearest BSNL customer service centres or mela locations.
