Dharmendra, Arbaaz Khan Reunite After 27 Years For Maine Pyaar Kiya Phir Se
Veteran actor Dharmendra and Arbaaz Khan are reuniting on screen after a gap of 27 years for their upcoming film, Maine Pyaar Kiya Phir Se. The two last appeared together in the 1998 hit, Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya, which also featured Salman Khan and Kajol.
Touted to be a mix of family drama and thriller, the muhurat ceremony of Maine Pyaar Kiya Phir Se recently took place in Mumbai. It was attended by several who's who from Bollywood, namely Rajpal Yadav, Vidya Malavade, Ganesh Acharya, Kangana Sharma, Sudhakar Sharma, Vijay Madaye, Cheetah Yajnesh Shetty, Yogesh Lakhani of Bright Outdoor Media Ltd, and Sonu Baggad. The film is slated to begin shooting shortly and is anticipated to release in theatres by November 2025.
One of the evening's highlights was Udit Narayan's live performance of a song from the film. The yet-to-be-released track was loved by everyone present. Actor-influencer Ekta Jain anchored the event. The event also marked a personal celebration for producer Ronnie Rodrigues as the event coincided with the birthday celebrations of his twin sons, Charles and Caaden, both 11. I had a great time working with Arbaaz Khan earlier in Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya, and I'm excited about this new journey together."
Speaking about working with Dharmendra again, Arbaaz Khan said, 'It's an honor to be back on set with Dharamji. He is an institution in himself, and our journey now feels like it has come full circle. I wish Ronnie Rodrigues and the entire cast and crew all the very best. Ronnie's sons are also part of the film, and I'm excited about the story, characters, and script."
Maine Pyaar Kiya Phir Se is produced under the banner of PBC Motion Pictures Pvt. Ltd. The film is directed by Sabir Sheikh, with Keerti Kadam as Associate Producer, Nisar Akhtar as writer, Dilip Sen-Sameer Sen as music directors, Naushad Parkar as DOP, Mohan Baggad as action director, Himanshu Jhunjhunwala as Executive Producer, and Ekta Jain as casting director.
